Creation Kit coming soon with DLC to follow.

“We’ve always seen the original world of Fallout 3 as a foundation for even more content. Some created by us, and a lot more created by users,” said Todd Howard, game director for Fallout 3. “It’s fun to create your own character, but it can be equally fun to create your own adventures. We can’t wait to see what the community does with the G.E.C.K.” (more…)

The wasteland cometh Oct. 28th.

Fallout 3 has been the biggest project we’ve ever undertaken,” said Todd Howard, game director for Fallout 3. “It’s been a long journey and we’re really happy with how it turned out. We can’t wait for everyone to get a chance to play it.”

Fallout 3 features a massive, free-roaming world. Set more than 200 years following a nuclear war, create a character to leave the vaults behind and explore the wasteland of Washington D.C.. Every minute is a fight for survival as you encounter Super Mutants, Ghouls, Raiders, and other dangers.

In addition, for the PC version they’ve posted Minimum and Recommended System Requirements and a list of supported video card chipsets on the official site FAQ, which you can find here: http://fallout.bethsoft.com/eng/info/faq.html

In case you need some advice on the upcoming Fallout.

The biggest, bloodiest post-apocalyptic adventure is all set for release next month, but what are all we daring vault dwellers supposed to do in the meantime?  Play with puppets? Thankfully, Bethesda Softworks have an answer, and that answer is prepareforthefuture.com.

Here on a new website for Fallout 3, you’ll find more than a month’s ration of instructional videos and other clips, revealing the true heart and soul of this open world opus.  All of the TVs even have an imbed option, allowing you to share your joy with members of distant vaults.
