You must defeat him to stand a chance…

Unless you’re disconnected or had no interest in the the fighting game extravaganza that took place last week at EVO 2009, then I am sure you caught the awesome showdown between Justin Wong and Daigo “The Beast” Umehara. It was an explosive, balls-to-the-walls battle that kept attendees and fans enjoying the broadcast via Ustream off their seats. Justin put out an amazing effort, but in the end, Daigo took the title as the world’s first Street Fighter IV champ. Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez was able to catch Daigo, moments after his victory to discuss the tourney and gain some insight behind the legend.

We’re going to take you for a ride.. in three weeks!

I imagine Andrew Calvin is too preoccupied with BlazBlue right now, or else he would have posted the news about Marvel vs. Capcom 2. Y’know… a little something like oh, a release date you’ve all been waiting to hear. Earlier this morning, Capcom put out the word that it will make its XBLA on July 29th. No word on when it’s going to show up on PSN, but I imagine the majority of readers out there actually own a 360. If not, well, my apologies.
