“Rare footage of Daigo actually angry…

For years, when you thought of Daigo or Justin Wong, it brings back the epic battle that took place at Evo 2004 dubbed as “Evo Moment #37″. This year will undoubtedly go down in the history books as the two power players face off again, this time in Capcom’s latest fighting release: Street Fighter IV.

Enjoy the footage as Justin (Balrog) takes on Daigo (Ryu) Grab some popcorn, take the phone off the hook and get hype!

Attend EVO and play before its retail debut.

Namco announced today that Tekken 6 will be joining the lineup of exhibition tournaments at this year’s EVO Championship Series in Las Vegas. Attendees will have an excellent first-hand opportunity to experience the console version before its retail debut slated for Fall 2009.

EVO events are definitely memorable that diehard and casual enthusiasts alike shouldn’t pass up. You owe it to yourself to attend at least one EVO in your lifetime. There’s still time to register and get in on the fun taking place during July 17 – 19.

Don’t believe the hype.

I doubt we’ll ever see see a tourney moment top the classic Third Strike Daigo vs. Justin matchup, but this definitely belongs in the history books. The footage was taken from the final round of the southeast major fighting game tournament (Final Round XII) in Atlanta, GA demonstrates why you never should celebrate till your opponent is officially K.O.’ed

The matchup was between Kensou (C. Viper) vs. Liston (using Sagat, and personal friend of mine from Chinatown Fair) engaged in an intense battle for a spot for the Top 16 out of 240 participants. I don’t wanna give anything away, but if you need a more detailed explanation, be sure to read the transcipt at the official YouTube URL.
