The only reason I wear the strap at all is so my cat doesn't launch himself at it as it dangles while I play. If you hold the remote properly there's a 0% chance of dropping it, and other than Wii Sports there aren't any games I gesticulate that much on. Of course, I don't have Rayman yet.
