I've got to be honest here. I think I'm going to get the CE. I fucking love the GoW franchise and that box just looks too cool. I'm about to be 39 years old and I know that sounds ridiculous but it's the truth.
I bought the Batman Deluxe so I know exactly what you mean. I'll still only be getting the standard version of GoW3, though. No batarang, no sale.

I was all ready to pick up the Batman CE, but then they had the regular edition on sale for $40 up here, and I could not justify a $60 difference.
Since everyone responded to that questionnaire that Sony sent around, requesting the first two games included, they saw that they could sell them separately, and they did. Otherwise, they most likely would have been included in the CE.

No way. Pre-order bonuses are usually t-shirts, posters, downloadable levels, weapons, or characters, etc. I will really be surprised if they toss in two full games as a bonus.

Here in Canada, Best Buy and FutureShop do this quite often, actually.
I went to my local Game Crazy today to put a deposit on the GoW III Ultimate but it wasn't in their system yet. They only had the bare bones game. The lady working there was cool enough to just give me a GoW download code which I thought was pretty cool on her part. The game is fucking bad ass. It's really just more of the same with a couple enhancements but god damn was it fun and this game looks fan-fucking-tastic! I'm sure I'll play that demo a few dozen more times before the game gets released.

A lot of Steam preorders come with full games. For example, GTA IV came with Vice City, and Red Faction Guerrilla came with the first two Red Factions.

No, silver members can't use Netflix. You're up a creek unless you're paying.
Checking out the Netflix streaming now, watching an HD movie and it looks fine, no better or worse than on the 360 so who knows wtf people are bitching about.
The interface is slow as hell, though. Takes forever to scroll through your queue to find what you're looking for. Let's hope that's just a result of being disc-based and that it'll go away once we get the ability to install it to the hard drive.
