Apparently too goofy for you is just right for me. The first time I was introduced to this movie, I walked in to a friends house where his roommate was watching it, I only saw that 5 minute chase scene leading to that and I was sold.

I still find it hilarious.

It's simply dreadful the amount of poor taste apparent in each list. I wish you could all see my movie collection so you could marvel at all the classics and movies no one has ever heard of in it, because without that validation I, and my cat, lead a lonely existence. I enjoy pretentiously watching the following movies, perhaps with some red wine and caviar, quite often:

Lawrence of Arabia
On The Waterfront
The Birth of a Nation
The Jazz Singer
Wuthering Heights
Guess Who's Coming to Dinner
and Star Wars: Episode III

But seriously for me:
Dazed and Confused
Before Sunrise
Ghostbusters
BttF 1/2/3
Star Wars 4/5/6
Blazing Saddles
Airplane!
Anything with Bill Murray/Ahnold/Stallone
Blues Brothers
Any James Bond
American Graffiti
Jurassic Park
Pineapple Express

Man, I could go on, I just realized I watch a lot of movies over and over. Maybe I should branch out.

Coraline is my most watched Blu-Ray so far....amazing movie that I can't get enough of.

I like to watch Willy Wonka and The Chocolate Factory as a "comfort movie" when I'm not feeling well. The Gene Wilder version, of course, just to clarify. The Johnny Depp one doesn't even have a home in my trash can.

It's a great movie that actually gets better each time you watch it. I can understand not getting the love for it the first time you watch it, but the more you watch it the more you see how incredible it really is.
