Someone at my work was selling this on 360 for $10, so I snatched it pretty quick. Really fricking good and I don't even like FPS games. This and Uncharted go down in the halls of games I recently finished that everyone's already played forever now.

#3 Metal Gear Solid ACID - Well, about the time I got to all of these PSP MGS games.
What can I say about story - WTF, this was more nuttier than usual Kojima stuff, and then some. Though there were no monkeys involved.
But the strategy and card related battles were quite fun. Especially final battle again Metal Gear. Collecting cards to build better decks was addictive. I like when you used character card it would play a little clip from former MGS games with those characters involved.
Presentation was a bit messy though, especially the way on how its really confusing on how to use equip type weapons, cause the game really don't tell you much on that. I went trough half the game, relying on on-use items, and grenades/missiles, until I figured that out. Then it became more fun.
Platinum Trophy, all single player Medals, all Store items unlocked, etc. I beat the living fuck out of it. I like the multiplayer too, especially the coop modes.

Braid 200/200 -- Time Trial achievement took forever, but I finally finished in 43:56. I'll never play that game again.

A lot of the unlockables can only be used on chapters you have already beaten on that difficulty. So if you beat it on Hard, you can use them on Very Easy, Easy, Normal, and Hard. And once you beat Crushing, you can use them on any chapter and any difficulty.
Not a whole lot to say about it. If the game had a Hardcore style mode or even if it had some greater penalty for death, it might be the best Diablo-style game, but as it stands, you just get knocked to your knees and choose to respawn anyway because you're practically invincible.

Demon's Souls - First run took just over 43 hours. Not only did I immediately continue with NG+, but I started three new games with different builds to see how they play out. Best single-player campaign I've played in a long time; a sublime combination of Vagrant Story and Otogi (two faves from the last two gens).
Easily GOTY for me right now but I also just started Uncharted 2 so we'll see how long that holds up.

1) Uncharted 2 - Great game. I don't like the main villian though and the final boss fight is terrible. I do wish there was a bit more exploring or at least lower the amount of treasures (100 is too much) and put them in hidden places. Half the treasures have you staring into the ceiling for them and it got old fast. Petty complaint though since thats optional anyways. I'll play it on hard or something some other time.
2) Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 - I liked it more than the first game. I'll play it again some other time to do the "pro-registration" storyline.
3) Brutal Legend - Pretty good, nice tunes and I like the design of the world. I didn't care for the RTS stage battles. They are not fun at all and the control is clumsy.
4) Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time - Nice followup to Tools of Destruction. Plays and looks pretty much the same but thats ok. I finished the game on hard and it was actually a cakewalk. I suggest others who may get the game in the future to play on hard.
This was pretty good! It's pretty much a nice-looking (really nice-looking) Bomb Jack Lite with hints of puzzle platforming at the end. Fairly easy aside from the unlockable and fantastic Stage 31 which must have taken 15 attempts. I'd love to see this fleshed out into a 100 level DS or PSP game.
Finished up the Hard runthrough of Bayonetta and I think that'll be it for me for now. I've got a few more achievement points left and a couple more things to unlock but some most of what's left is really freaking hard and obnoxious to do so I'm going to call that it and maybe finish it up sometime in the future if I get time.

#4 Wanted Weapons of Fate - Not bad mindless shooter but man, was this short. I beat it, in one fucking sitting (took me about 2-3 hours). Gun battles were pretty fun though, and I actually liked the hero and design much more than it was in the actual film.
What other game gives you the chance to kill waves after waves of evil frenchies But those yelling red ninja ones at the end really got fucking annoying.
Great, absolutely loved it. It's easily my favourite Tekken game by a long shot. I even didn't mind Scenario mode and was surprised at how there were actual cutscenes and story by the end of it. Call it a filler mode, but if you think about it just being a beat-em-up like every other one, but with full move lists, it was actually pretty sweet.
Also, this game is gorgeous and the screenshot mode is pretty killer. The new characters are all fun (Miguel is a badass) and virtually everything about it was enjoyable.
That and the netcode is just fine. I've played a bunch of [awesome] matches against dementia_'s Dragunov and its just as good as if we were playing offline/local. Sick sick game.
76. Sin & Punishment 2: Successsor to the Sky
Excellent. It's muuuch longer than the first, so after a while it tends to drag on, but in the end it comes through and doesn't disappoint.

A lot of fun, has that old wacky GTA vibe in it with all the production values you expect from Rockstar. Fun missions, good story that ties the whole GTA 4 universe together and some really funny new characters. If someone said this was the best chunk of GTA 4, I don't think I would disagree. Fire fights never get old in this, the crazy animations always make it interesting.
Just finished on normal, pretty good game. If Treasure's not gonna try to make arcade games anymore, they might as well go in this direction; flashy as hell all the time, and fairly long, but still pretty challenging. Easily the best Wii game I've played, whatever that's worth.
Fun game, a fans dream come true. Great idea making the player the noob on the team instead of being one of the original 4. I think most fans (like myself) wanted to roll with the GB instead of being one of them.
The sound work is awesome, hearing those classic FX blaring as you tear stuff apart is a trip. Great voicework too, just a fun experience being brought into the world. Game looks good too, some of the environments are really cool, the bigger set pieces are the best (the last boss ripping apart the room for the fight is dope).
Controls pretty well, a quick evade would have been helpful to avoid some cheap deaths, but it works well as it is. Great idea having the 4 different guns that was sadly only pushed to it's greatest use on the last level. Having waves of ghosts come at you and knowing what to switch to made the fight more exciting. For the most part in the rest of the game you just use one type for long stretches, mixing it up faster made it more challenging and keeps you on your toes.
Fun game, I'd totally be down to play another one (campaign co-op please).
12. New Adventure Island (VC)
Are you fucking kidding me with how good this game is?
For some reason, it didn't captivate me when it was first made available on VC. I think it may have had something to do with Not Enough Skateboard and Skateboard Doesn't Carry Into The Next Stage, but those are a lot easier to get over having experienced the entire game. The best change they made to the Adventure Island formula was doing away with the boring, pointless, pace-breaking bonus stages that no one ever liked. Most of the hidden eggs house the awesome flaming bolas instead.
The bosses were kind of sucky, but whatever, this rocked. Easily among the best TG games, and definitely the best AI sequel.
Final Fantasy VIII perfect playthrough. Got every GF, every card, and everything is dead. Only took 11 years to make me not hate this game's stupid face.

This game was awesome. I did the same thing on my second play-through back then.
Finished the dwarf noble storyline in just over 44 hours. I went and did both possible endings to see them. Last boss was easy as hell to beat, but the game rocked. I did get pissed that I was able to easily romance the elf assassin (he's bi, lol), but Leliana wouldn't put out the whole game. It still registered her as my true love, but no romance achievement. Bitch!
Back from a half year hiatus, can't find my digicam charger so no pics for now....
20. Contra (Arcade)
- the original run & gun with rocking stereo sound, much easier and shorter (on default dip settings) than I remember though, almost 1cc, will go back and do that sometime
21. Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow (XBOX)
- completed on Normal, spent half a year away from it but was able to come back with no problems, many annoyances from the original game have been removed (like hitting an enemy in complete darkness from the front but triggering game over since he noticed you or the horrible jumping), still some issues with context sensitive controls and the camera but they are minimal, overall, maps are more linear to solve and just easier in general, localization was improved this time using famous anime seiyuu (ironic that the Solid Snake actor is the terrorist in SC) and still no way to set it in English, online seems to be interesting but very few people on these days (obviously), maybe it was the translation but the ending just seemed to be illogical and WTF...impressed that UBISoft Shanghai did such a decent job and the game never crashed on me, a UBI first! Now onto Chaos Theory...

Finished Uncharted 2 as well. Started off really great but the whole pace of the game starts to wear. Run around and climb for a bit with no enemies, come to a large awe inspiring set piece and fight off wave after wave of enemies. Rinse and repeat. I can't get enough of the title screen music though.
Mass Effect. Don't really see what all the hullabaloo for this one was. I guess the writing was fine, but the story was same old same old. The shooting annoyed me. The endless amounts of useless weapons and ammo annoyed me. The god awful exploration annoyed me. When lezzing out with a blue chick is a high point of your game, there's a problem. Oh yeah, fuck whoever came up with the controls for the Mako.
I want to play Dragon Age now, but am scared that once again, the hype will far outweigh the game.

Finished on Regular, then again on Veteran. Great single player campaign, even better than the first one. Story is completely retarded but didn't detract the action/set pieces. It is like a Michael Bay movie you can play (without the shitty dialogue). Balls to balls action, one of the finest FPS campaign in recent memory.
Going to start the Spec Ops on Vet and hope to be done with this very shortly and moving onto next game.

Its not a hard concept to grasp. Left stick controls mako, right stick controls turret. Easy peasy, right? What genius that it would be a great idea to have the rightstick also influence the direction of the mako? Made combat in the thing harder than it needed to be

Borderlands (360) - Good game and I just had a good time with it. After finishing the game it says I'm in "playthrough 2" but I did everything outside of finishing all the challenges before fighting the last boss so I guess next time I'll just try another character or something (I finished the game as a siren). The vehicle control is the worst ever.
