I don't mind the Mako control scheme, but I do mind how much time I have to spend in it during every side mission. No control scheme can save traversing bland, vacant environments from being boring. They should've combined all 2944321 planets into about nine.
If I didn't have ten thousand other games to get to, I might try ME again as a renegade and only do story missions. But I do, so I won't. Jade Empire was more enjoyable.

Finally finished it after downloading it something like months ago. I don't know. I like shooters and I've played this one before midway, but it never struck me as that great. The music was awesome, but I played this after enjoying Donpachi to great lengths. It's decent, but I've never loved the Star Soldier series that much.
I was curious to try that new Star Soldier on WiiWare, but I heard it was bad. Was it?

Fixed all the issues with the first, awesome voice acting, awesome action sequences, leading contender for my GOTY.

I really liked it when i first played it, and it just got lost in the pile of games. I just decided i was going to play through it today and i really enjoyed it. It looked great, played great. The sense of speed, along with gameplay that was always tailored to the sixaxis (it also didnt hurt that the controls actually worked extremely well), i dont think it would have been the same game without it.
