The thing that will decide this is about the first time she can't get back inside with out laying down for a rest. In the rain. I could build her a lean-to or a shanty but that would only be a bandaid as the weather gets colder. Right now she lays down for some nice sunbeams while recharging. I don't think she thinks that it sux

I've wanted to ever since you started posting pictures of Scooter! Since I'm moving into a really nice place this time I might feel okay to have a pet finally! My dog is knee-waist high, weighs 60 pounds, and kills animals. That's big enough imo. Lab is as big as I'd want.

Scooter update...

I've really tricked out his new 40 gallon tank. Over on the far left you'll notice a large fake banzai tree with a nice hollowed out trunk for him to curl up inside. I also have that tall pale branch on the same side for climbing fun. But his current favorite hiding spot is under that rock on the left side. Isn't the shot where he's poking his nose out sooo cute?

Jackson hurt his paw and he was feeling down so he curled up in my lap like he used to as a puppy. He doesn't really fit anymore. Weights about 60 pounds now.
