I've read you can play dodgeball, play tackle football and give kids swirlies.

Is this the next GTA filler (SoE/Manhunt), GTA Jr. or an actually legit title? I kinda hope it pans out to be something. Could be kinda cool if done right.

This game must have been totally under the radar at E3 because I followed E3 pretty close this year and heard nothing about this game at all.

This is the dumbest concept I've seen for a game in a long time, and it absolutely reeks of attention whoring.

Does the developer even have a name, other than "Rockstar's Vancouver development team?"

Those screenshots don't reveal much about gameplay, so I think it's a little early to form an opinion.

That said, I'm not optimistic.

It sounds like True Love, but without panty shots.

Lame.

Yes, they're simply called Rockstar Vancouver. They used to be Barking Dog Studios before they were bought out.

This almost seems like a joke. Talk about a complete 180 of what Rockstar usually produces.

It could be fun though. We'll see.

Hmm, interesting idea for a game. It might not be that bad.

I think a lot of you geeks just dont want to relive the Wonder Years of swirlies and getting beat up again - hence the backlash

I'm sure parents are going to go completely fucking sideways over this shit.

If it's a success, I predict a trillogy: a prequel set in the 50's called Clansman, then one in the 90's called Columbine Adventure.

They should let you play the bully, coming up with innovative ways of harassing the weaklings. That would be Rockstar.

yeah this wont get blamed by parents groups for just about everything, not at all. that said, it is an interesting concept, but maybe im being too optimistic. id have to see theamount of things you can do, if you get robust goodguy path where you cna protect the weaklings from bullies, and a deep hand to hand system, it might be enjoyable. and i do agree with animegirl, the kids face is hurting right now, there better be some major customization in the game.

MarkRyan is trying to condense himself into the epitome of the token smarmy elitist gamer. I think he's succeeding. Congrats.

EDIT: As to this game, I dunno, the premise sounds like it COULD be interesting and if anyone was going to do this game I can think of no one better than Rockstar.

Just the one of the most successful gaming franchises both commercially and critically. But, you know, because you and your cliche don't like it MUST still be crap.

That post was filled with so many errors, I feel like weeping. I had an IP moment. And, damn it all, of all the times for it to happen it's when I'm engaging in one of my favorite TNL pastimes; Hatin' on MarkRyan.

Haven't played it myself, but that's a good call. Though it's developed by Remedy while Bully falls under the Rockstar name (and likely the same breed of developers/same management).

I don't exactly have a clique of people that hate the game with me--most of my friends like GTA. But even the people that do like the games don't deny the obvious problems GTA has.
