No, we're not giving away the ending to The Darkness II. We're giving away the game - for both the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 3.

Take a minute to read our The Darkness II, if you'd like, but here's the short version: this is an awesome game where you play as a mob boss imbued with hellish powers that allow him to absolutely destroy his enemies. Not only can you dual-wield guns like you can in every other FPS in the world, you also control a couple of heart-eating, flesh-rending, hissing demonic arms that make the world of Mortal Kombat look like an episode of Glee.

This intense slaughter is wrapped in a strong story based on the popular Darkness comics, so be glad we aren't giving away the ending. Many of the best parts of the game involve watching the hero struggle to control his powers, keep a grasp on his soul, deal with his tortured past, and figure out whether he's just crazy after all. Is the darkness playing with his mind in a bid to completely consume him, or is he just a madman that's hit rock bottom?

For a chance to win The Darkness II, simply e-mail store@the-nextlevel.com with "Darkness II" in the subject line and tell us the name of the game's hero (which you can find in our review if you're stumped) and whether you are entering to win the 360 version, the PS3 version, or either one.

The winners will be selected at random and notified on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. That means your entry (only one per person, United States and Canadian shipping addresses only) must be received no later than 11:59 Pacific Time on the day before. You must claim your prize by replying to our e-mail with a valid shipping address by the end of the day March 30 of this year.

Members of the TNL Forums who have at least ten posts can include the user name of the account for an extra entry. Those of you that follow @tnlonline on Twitter can also score an extra entry by providing your Twitter name. If you enter with a TNL name and win, you will be contacted via private message on the forums instead of e-mail.

We are not responsible for any items (including e-mail messages) that are lost or delayed. The Next Level is running this giveaway and reserves the right to make any changes to the rules at any time.

Many thanks to 2K Games for making this possible.
