It's been a long and storied years. With the Wii's unprecedented model for success, rules have been broken. With Sony's inability to lead the market three generations in a row, another rule has been reinforced. We've had some surprises, some disappointments, but most of all, we just haven't had enough time.
This year has been packed. Not only have we had a tsunami of killer titles unlike any in recent memory, and seen how two new systems fared through their first year, but we've seen new families grow for members of the Next Level crew. The Next Level family has expanded as well, as we welcome new editors into the fold, Andrew M., Sean, and Valerie.
It's been a great year, and it's almost a relief that it's over. Now we have time to look back, reflect, and really appreciate all that's happened. Most of all, we can look forward to 2008 with confidence that this will be our biggest year yet.
