Weekly Report, 2/13

Cold and snowy February meets warm and fuzzy gaming.

February may not be the busiest gaming month around, but it usually manages to pull its weight despite not being the largest month for releases. This year it's shaping up quite nicely, with last week alone delivering a nice variety of titles in just about all genres. Chibi Robo and Rub Rabbits brought a nice touch of insanity, while Arena Football and Winning Eleven provided a little something for the sports crowd. Capcom even re-re-re-released Resident Evil and Street Fighter Alpha 3, because they're Capcom and that's what they do.

Next week is no slouch either. Exit brings its own style to the PSP, which in all fairness is finally becoming a home for more than stripped-down console ports. Getting Up shows that you don't need a gangsta-wannabe to have an urban adventure, while Drakengard 2 gives a second chance to Square's odd blend of Dynasty Warriors and Panzer Dragoon. The Xbox 360 even manages a second game outside of its initial launch titles with Full Auto, finally kicking off a trickle of new content over the coming weeks.
