Note: If you want the Legend of Zelda commercial from Japan, make sure you are all set up and go to this thread. If you need help, just read below. Are you seeing all this text when what you really wanted to see was a movie? This page has been created to help stem the tide of hotlinking - the practice of directly linking files on someone else's server without his permission. The Next Level strives to present interesting and entertaining content, and we want to continue presenting it to you. Unfortunately, many sites have taken to linking our files as if they were their own, so users on those sites download large files from TNL's server without ever visiting a single page on our site. This means we are paying for bandwidth that is used solely to make another site look cool. Uh-uh. It shouldn't work like that. The problem is, many people who are legitimately attempting to access files from within our site also are redirected here because of how their firewalls and/or browsers are configured. So, to all of you, those who came from TNL and those that have come from elsewhere, I present the following guide to getting the image/movie you want in such a way that we get your patronage, the referring site still looks cool, and no one really loses. Ready? 1. You must access the file from The Next Level. When you click on the link you want to view or download, the URL in the address bar of the page you are looking at must start with http://www.the-nextlevel.com or http://the-nextlevel.com. 2. Your firewall and browser must allow referrers. If you are using a Norton firewall, try the following:
In other programs, or in differently configured versions of Norton, look for similar settings. The point is that you have to allow the site to read the address of the page you were at; otherwise, you'll be redirected here. If you are having any trouble at all with this, you can e-mail the Webmaster or ask for help on our forums.
