Namco dropped a few more Soul Calibur III highlights today, expanding on the some of the details we shared with you earlier this week. One of our biggest concerns were actually the names of the new characters themselves which were revealed in today's announcement as: Zasalamel, Tira, and Setsuka (make sure to check out the concept art in our media section for a closer look!) Each character will also sport brand-new battle stages and (hopefully) some unique badass fighting styles (unlike the cookie-cuttter stuff served to us in the second installment).
With all this talk about the sequel promising to take the franchise to new heights, we know that seeing is believing. Which is why we're happy to share the first-ever footage of Soul Calibur III in action. Yep, we got it (and man is it huge, so we've kept it zipped up for easier downloading). More updates to follow as they become available.
Update 4/04: We've added 30 new screenshots including some remarkable character art images to salivate over. E3 can't come soon enough.
Update 3/25: Not enough screens you say? Ruliweb mirrored some additional mouth-watering shots originally posted at WorthPlayin.com. You can access them all by clicking, here.
