Feel like crap. Dinner doesn't seem to be sitting very well, and I feel like I have acid or gas buildup which won't go away. IRS response did come and I still have three returns with errors. The person said that he anticiaptes me passing the full regiment soon, which I think is about as encouraging as I could ask for, but I still feel like crap about it. Let's see if I can whine more in the next hour or so.

IRS response has come and the result is - not very good. Granted, there were more returns which I did correctly than didn't, and a few of the issues raised was over a few dollars because of a difference in determining tax liability (schedule versus tables), but I can't help but feel disappointed in the first result. I will rectify the errors over the course of the night but I can't say I'm thrilled at not having as much confidence in my product as I would have originally perceived.

Paid a visit to Half Price Books today. Slim pickings this time around, which is the first time that I had experienced it from the store. Called the IRS and finally got that ball rolling again; hopefully they respond early tomorrow as he stated today. State e-filing is proving to be much more difficult.

Feeling lethargic otherwise. Let's go.

Woke up in the middle of sleeping with a gigantic leg cramp in my calf. No IRS contact yet, and I woke up (after going back to bed) too late to call them today.

I think I'm done with Form 720, so after setting things for XML cleanup I'll move on to the next form. 66 something.

If you follow the fighting game tourney scene you know FLOe. For whatever insane reason he's been streaming games like "I wanna be the guy", "I wanna be the boshy", and all those other incredibly unfair platformers. Lots of failure, tons of cussing, and all that other good stuff is expected.

Saturday and home. Almost had a minor catastrophe in the morning because I set my alarm to the wrong time. Thankfully, the wife is on vacation and helped to move things along so that I wasn't tardy. Living within close proximity of the work location helps.

There are a total of eight people who have the job which I currently hold at the retail store. The day all eight of us were scheduled on the same day was Black Friday. Fair enough. However, the same situation occurred today. Just some normal Friday, yet everyone is here. Needless to say, that job was very brainless today and I'm glad I only had to endure four hours of it.

Worked on setting up the 1065 Schedule K1 yesterday for XML output, and the way the IRS formatted the original PDF was different than usual, because opening it with LiveCycle would crash the program. Same for 2010's version of the form. I use programs to split up and merge PDF files, primarily on these forms in order to remove excess instruction pages and add blank pages where I add my necessary fields. It's a good thing I did that this time, because that's the only way I was able to open the form ...

State form development might be a pain. A full day has elapsed and I don't have a response to a rudimentary question about what documentation they have available.

Need to get this down now.

Risen is the spiritual sequel to the Gothic series and you all know what that entails. In this grand adventure our hero washes up on an island without so much as a pair of shoes. The quest to get pair of shoes takes close to five hours by itself. Also this game starts off brutally, as casual run-ins with warthogs may as well be final boss affairs in any other RPG. Still, provided you rub the right backs, dip into enough dungeons, and occasionally cheat the glitchy weed-dealer, you'll be an unstoppable ...

So, the next part is that I get a team of people at the IRS MEF development staff to officially test my new year's product. Now they have to call me. I can't wait to explain about what I'm doing to these kind of people.
