Today was a good day to have an outdoor wedding. Temperatures were mild and rain only happened in areas before or after our presence.

Between the ceremony and the reception, I had time enough to mow the lawn here as well as tend to my daily exercise routine. Unfortunately, the latter activity was curtailed due to time restraints, as it took me longer to leave from here as I intended to do on account of finding the pieces to the suit which I wore in the day.

Treadmill sessions at my parent's place means I get to watch cable TV, and C Span is one of my more frequent choices for what to watch. I like to have the opportunity to watch the inner workings of the government and the long stretches of programming without commercial interruption makes it more appealing to me than most anything else. My copy of Eschatos & Ginga Force Wonder Pack came in. The contents are rather heavy, in consideration of the three discs inside as well as the thick manual. Meanwhile, I ordered a motor controller board for $160 today, so I'll need to wait for that to show up and then have a repair man service it once it comes in to bring my treadmill back. The terror of the relatives' visit continues but crisis was averted today as they decided to not arrive at my parent's place at 3PM today. I had already completed my exercise at that point and would have left regardless, but at least this is one day less that my mother and father have had to deal with them. Apparently there are arrangements more solidly in place for them to come tomorrow, so there's still more to endure. I'll need to make a point to arrive at the house at the same time tomorrow, ...

Long sleep brings a late start to the day. Dinner comes after an hour of wake up and before that my mom texts me to ask if I wanted to be swimming with two of my cousins. I respond after eating and eventually make my way over there. With the swimming I did with them after dinner as well as showing the two of them how the treadmill works and the like, it wasn't until 10PM that I was done and another fifteen minutes before I was leaving. Circumstances dictate that I need to do the song session and write this now, as I will have spent most of my evening at the parent's house in the process of doing exercise as well as making another visit with my uncle's family. I probably will return before midnight but I might as well just get this out of the way for now.

I want my mother in law to take online surveys. Most of any place which I know that offers this will issue payment in the form of gift certificates or store credit, ...

I've given up on my treadmill working for now. Some days in the past week were actually totally fine, and others were a bit of a struggle, but letting the machine warm up by having it run slowly for a while before I started did seem to help for a while. Last night, the warmup couldn't stay running for more than five minutes without it simply dying and halting. Time to call in for a repair.

This means that in the meantime, I'll need to visit my parent's house to use their treadmill ...

I had an interesting encounter at the store today. It was about 11AM and I was at the grocery entrance, and I walk past a car which has a license place that indicated that he was a state representative. The license plate itself had two letters, and having a vanity plate with just two letters is a coveted rarity here. I had the fortune of actually seeing him and his wife as they were loading their groceries and about to leave, so I walked over and helped him load the last few bags into his car. I ...

One of the coworker cashiers decided that I needed a pair of hand me down shoes. They fit. Coincidentally enough, it rained for an hour at the end of my day and the holes in my old shoes gave no resistance to the water seeping in, so I was in need of getting a new pair anyway. What's odd about this is that I never once mentioned anything about the condition of my shoes to this person, yet she somehow got it into her head that I would have a need for those. Last night before going to bed, I put the finishing touches on 2011 Form 7004 so that I can prepare to make official submissions today. I start the day with the intent of getting the test returns formed and adjusting the rest to prepare for the act, but before doing so I sit down to read mail here. A call to IRS MEF help desk confirmed that my case ticket for the 2012 Form 2290 testing was closed. I understand that time has passed since it was initiated last November, but it's a bit disappointing to know that they never would have responded to me had I not made a point to call and ask first. When I did this, I had to wait for fifteen minutes on hold before I began a conversation that my phone decided to terminate early. The day started nicely with scrounging leftovers for breakfast, and in doing so I discovered a container that had a few bits of macaroni and cheese in it which was repugnant. It had no visible mold growing on it, but simply opening the container in the room was a vile assault on the nasal senses. Updating Form 1120 Schedule UTP is proving to be interesting. The 2011 version allowed the cited tax code sections to be entered as a standard text string, but the updated XML schema now requires each individual section, subsection, paragraph, subparagraph, and clause to be individually stated in separate elements. Most everything else from the 2011 Form was able to be salvaged, and I had enough sense to name things in a manner which made updating the new form to conform with the prior year's data ...

The way the USPS system works for registering to take the test is that you have to apply for a specific job first. To do that, you need to create a profile within their system, and doing that entails recreating your resume. I decided to go through the steps yesterday, and at the end I encountered a page to conduct a search for jobs. I search on the basis of my city name first. No results.
