Today was the day for shopping, and I'm just glad that I didn't get these items for my own personal use. The shopping list was a few select items; mouse, keyboard, Internet adapter, USB hub, two power cords, one video cord (DVI), one video cord adapter (DVI VGA, just in case), power strip. The power strip happened to come with a few HDMI cords, so that helped justify that particular item; otherwise, no item on that list was more than $25 - yet the total managed to be around $160. Well, my head ran the full gamut of emotions today, but thankfully a mail came just recently which basically settled all the variables that I had been contemplating and has essentially put me back on track. It's in respect of a personal manner rather anything like a career or the like, so that's the extent of detail which I shall provide here.

Friday's fun rendered me mostly useless yesterday. The end tab was $366 and it proved to be very worthwhile to have the hotel room, as sleep worked out much more nicely than trying to drive home would have. Unfortunately, I didn't wake with such an appetite for any food on Saturday and spent most of the day in a stupor, though thankfully without much of an accompanying headache. I should have tried to cram some food down my throat just to get my body going sooner. Oh well. Regardless, I took advantage ...

I had a moment to get a few songs in. Some weird bad plays came about but for it being pressed on time and given how most charts were on the more difficult side, today's session went better than I expected. Here's hoping I live to see tomorrow, at least.

What an empty day.

With little else specifically scheduled to do today, I spent a lot of the time trying to get the streaming going yet again, and while I think I have reached a point to where I can put up the dual images and audio in some regard, it's not the greatest of quality for either the viewers or myself. Our Internet was knocked out for most of the day yesterday, so I paid a visit to my parent's house to get some work done and take care of some business. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to transmit some returns from their location so it had to wait until today. I'm lucky to have had the chance to transmit them today, as we made an appointment for a technician to repair the cable here and they're scheduled to arrive tomorrow. The two cats are going through some sort of phase right now where both of them pester me throughout the night because they want to have me give them attention and petting while laying with me on the bed. For one of the two, this is normal, but for the other one, this is a new development. The two cats don't usually hang around in the same space; thankfully, their confrontations are not actual fights that require them being pulled apart, so at least I don't have that to contend with while I'm trying ...

I've already whined about it elsewhere but to recapitulate and expand on it in a different respect - I bought Borderlands 2 GOTY Edition today. I generally strongly dislike playing FPS games, and my first hour with this didn't feel any better than the rest. Regardless of my personal opinion about them and how poorly I play them, the reason that I even bothered to do this is for the sake of having a better time in socializing with friends over a game. At least I was able to get a tax return done (ready to be filed, not sent yet) while home on my lunch break today. Other than that, what have I done? Not much of anything. I suppose I could try to squeeze something in during this last hour before bed, but I probably should just try to get some sleep, considering how both cats did their best to deprive me of it last night.

I did get some Forms updated last night and slept as long as I allotted myself until the start of the day. Saw my wife on her lunch, got her up to date on the day, put a few finishing touches on some information for the message board, saw her leave, went about my exercise. Got done with the exercise, showered, and get into position to make the call. 1PM comes and I'm the first other person to join the conference, and the other two show up afterwards. What happens next? The new addition to the discussion ...

I went to bed at 1AM this morning and came out still feeling lethargic at 1PM. After I was done exercising and walking up to join my wife and her mom for dinner, I had a sensation almost like I was about to faint. She had cooked a side dish using couscous and cilantro seasoning, the latter of which I'm not particularly used to, and I wonder if the smell of it is what threw me off. I know that I didn't react to pleasantly to the smell of it some time ago, but I at least managed to eat the food regardless. ...

I think last night could have been better. They left at 3AM and I continued by myself until 4AM, and I had a better time of progress and enjoyment in that last hour than the five prior. I honestly was bothered and more resistant to getting out of bed than normal this morning because of the night's events. It does make me wonder if I should bother with the future plan. Though, I did get details about it messaged to me today, by her, so it seems like I'm expected to be there by her at least. I'm just ...

I come home on lunch today with a determination to at least get the rest of the other profiles made on the message board. I do so, and spend the remainder of the hour having one of the profiles make some posts with attachments. Call it coincidence - just after that, I received an email from the attorney's son about the upcoming conference call. I'm glad I was able to use the response as an opportunity to mention that their profiles were made and that the board was accessible. What's strange, though, ...
