Video Games

The instructor brews the coffee with such strength that I think it has affected me throughout the rest of the day and up to the point that I'm writing this now. Before dinner I felt lightheaded, and I still feel phased out now. I determined that I will stay home tomorrow in order to get some things done which I can or need to do around here, some of which needs to be done before I can progress further in the class. I think I just may need a long night's sleep.

I managed to condense the entire packet into a single side of a page. Granted, it resulted in some lists becoming checklists without the words attached as far as the relevance, but that much is basically assumed to be known by everyone regardless. Just the relevant items is all that is necessary.

Songs suffered for me starting them late, and this is due as much to me wanting to get the paper done and ...

Curfew is here. Busy trying to get work done on a master study sheet. I'm tired of repeatedly flipping through a book of a dozen pages when I can probably condense everything I need into one or two at most.

56.5 hours in 8 days of attendance. The minimum to move on to the next phase is 70, though there is a secondary phase which I can start sooner than that. It has a requirement of 20 hours, but because of how the school is run I can't even get a fixed time (beyond two days of the week when I'm scheduled for work) that I can earn hours in that category.

On that subject, tomorrow is the day when I believe I'll be having The Big Talk with my manager at work. If I try to reconcile my present ...

Only today do I come to discover that the school doesn't allow for the logging of more than ten hours in a single given day. I suppose it's just as well for me to find this out now, as the day concluded with the two lecture events which are mandatory for me to attend at least once. So there, that's done.

A response came today from the IRS for the second batch of submissions I did, and I don't think I'll have time to so much as look at it until Saturday, as I intend to spend another ...

Second batch of submissions is sent, complete with a response article that probably has a higher word count than what was sent to me in the first place. Let's see how that goes over.

Haircut acquired.

I am going to treat tomorrow as another work day so that I hopefully don't have another two hour commute to the school. Time is short.

Finally reached the end of necessary revisions. I'm grateful to see that most of my issues for which I have some contention and argument to make are basically contained to one of the test scenarios. Without looking back at this moment of writing to confirm otherwise, I think there might be a case where I made some substitutions in other scenarios that were sustained.

I probably could squeeze in the act of resubmitting everything right now, but I think instead it would be better for ...

The response to the IRS receipt of the 1120 test submissions can finally go forward, and it remains to be a very painful process. I'm glad that there are indeed some errors which are actually my fault or omission rather than it all being the case otherwise. Otherwise, here, refers to the IRS telling me that I have a value wrong which would result in the return being rejected if the information which they want and mirrors the test scenario document was what I would have actually supplied. It feels quite relieving to be home at 4PM today.

On one hand I can take some time to dig further into the IRS correction list, and on the other I can actually just turn in earlier for once and get some extra sleep while I can. I should be able to go through the rest of the list within the next three days as long as my days are like this where I have enough time to work.

Two hours to get in, and the last quarter of it was me gritting my teeth because I had to urinate so badly. Yesterday I left at 5 and got home by 710. Today I left at 7 and got home at 8. It definitely seems like I need to make these trips before 7 and after 6 or else I'll just double my commute time. What was just as amusing is that my car seems to have decided to stop pumping out warm air through the vents, so this morning's bleary 45 degree rainy weather was a delight.

The commute is simply brutal. Over an hour there, and today it took just a bit over two hours to get back. At least I structured my day effectively enough to get the job done. Went to the classroom, managed to get two full rounds of practice questions answered, went over and took the test. Passed. I still got 4 out of 28 wrong on the general knowledge section, which angers me because of the simplicity of the question structure. The questions are multiple choice of three, and indeed of general knowledge. ...

$2300. Today was day one of the class. I had to go back a distance after I overshot the location on the way up. It was pretty easy to miss, considering that I was expecting to find something of a parking lot facility and not a store unit within a strip mall that didn't have a store front sign to afford any kind of identification. The office opens at 9AM. That means I can probably wake up at 6 and take care of business before making the call to ensure I have a reason to drive out there today. I'm assuming that I will be making the trip.

The IRS response did in fact come today, and it appears that I have a series of adjustments to make. It won't be happening tonight, though; but perhaps I can look into some of it, depending on how much demand this cat on my desk has for me to bestow attention upon it.

The cat accompanied me to bed this morning. In the process of doing that, he stands on my body as I'm on my back and petting him. This makes him happy enough to drool. When he drools at this point, he sneezes and sprays drool everywhere. When he did that today, I had my eyes open at just the right time to get a money shot of cat drool directly onto my right eyeball. It triggered a reaction strong enough to compel me to move downstairs and sleep on the futon so that I could get decongested and blow ...
