I should have known that there would be an issue with it this time. With little else to do, I finally took to opening the Form 1040 Draft and start poking around. The conversion process of it in LiveCycle requires me to set it to "flowable" layout, so that I can manually edit everything on the page, and I need to do this so that I can delete the "DRAFT" text which is prominently in the background. For this year's form, opening it in this fasion renders about 75% of the second ...
The note that I sent to the IRS about the <OverpaymentSection> tag in the Form 1120 XML data is dated as sent on November 18. I received the response today. This is response to your inquiry dated November 9, 2012, regarding 2011 Test Scenario 1 Form 1120. Please ensure you are using the correct schema version for the scenario. The latest version is 2011v2.2. If you continue to have problems, you can call the eHelp Desk for assitance at call 866-255-0654. ...
Rather than merely set a meeting time over a series of phone calls, my Mother insisted that a meeting was to be held today at my Sister's house in order to determine the timeframe of her upcoming move. The only real necessity that I perceived was that I was there to visually see the entirety of material set to be transported and gave my honest assessment that there's no way for it all to fit in a single 24 foot rental truck. One small benefit for me out of this is that the timeframe which carries ...
Now what I need to do is tinker with the 1040 drafts and get things set for when the live forms are dropped, which still hasn't happened yet. Electronic filing won't open until the middle of January as normal, but I feel incredibly ancy to get underway on work with it being December now. Speaking of which - everyone is so happy about the balmy weather. I can't help but feel depressed over it. It's December. It's a winter month. Winters in the midwest are supposed to be cold. A nationwide ...
I completed the Ethics course to fulfill the requisite CPE hour requirements for the year. There is a separate category for "ethics" beyond the general knowledge. I fulfilled the latter a few weeks ago by finally completing the test for the Lasser Income Tax course. I had simply never taken the test until that point because I had no pressing need to do so sooner. The ethics CPE requirement is two CPE hours, and the ethics course which I had undertaken gives credit of five CPE hours. It ...
The pool has been put into place at the parent's home today. They had to take out half of a length of fence in order to get a full sized construction crane into the area so that they could position the pool into place. It is a single piece of fiberglass of about 40 feet length and 20 feet in width, and a deep end for a diving board. The other end has steps across the entire width with a few jet streams at the sides, so it's possible to sit and lounge at the shallow end as well. It looks like it ...
I got to my treadmill portion of the day early on, and when I was done and stripped to prepare to shower, I noticed some blood smeared around my right middle toenail. Pressing around the area was in fact more sensitive than normal at that time, but not by enough that I could discern any sort of injury. The sock wasn't stained around the area, so it wasn't enough to bleed through. Everything seems normal now regardless. I made a new test submission and decided to make an initial attempt ...
A thirty five minute call to the IRS has put me on track to receive assistance from their programming analysts. I wonder why there's no instance content for a Form 1120S which is accessible to all employees there. I woke up with something of a hangover today. I managed to put down this entire bottle of Glenlivet scotch in the course of two weeks. I'm quite surprised how quickly it depleted. Biggest highlight of the song session today is that I managed to pass Skyscraper. ...
I got into a conversation with my coworker about general "future technology" things and the like - as it turns out, he at least gives a damn about that sort of thing and watches the show 2057 (which I'll have to do some research about to see if it's worth my time). It was rather refreshing to do so, in that there's at least a time where I didn't have to move a conversation along about sports or simply work in pure silence other than to issue and acknowledge commands. I am curious about ...
In light of the recent news articles about Panasonic and their difficulties, I think my hand may be forced and I'll be looking to get a plasma screen sooner than later, and possibly within a few weeks. The sales are here, so hopefully a good deal comes my way. The store does have a few specific days set for employees who worked on Thanksgiving day, and the new aspect to it this year is that they get 20% off of an entire transaction. There are two Panny plasmas available at the store, the P42X5 and ...
D3. One of the people who used to be a daily coop pal bought some gold a few weeks ago and subsequently was immediately burned out and hasn't played since. I still have the contact though, and he was nice enough to log back on and basically lend me all of the stuff he had equipped for an indefinite amount of time. Another person who lives in Korea that was one of my main chatting buddies in the game has just shown up today after informing me that he has completed an apartment transfer and new PC ...
For all the speculation and concern over what today would turn out to be, the day's work was rather dull overall. That isn't to say it wasn't busy - from the start until the end there was enough to do, particularly with so many carts being used in the store among customers and employees alike. Beyond a sizable accumulation of carts beyond the store's own parking lot which took a single extra excursion to reclaim, there really was nothing else remarkable about the day for our job. The grocery half ...
Within moments after waking up for work this morning, my wife had a spell of vomiting which didn't fully cease until she was in the parking lot of the store on the way to work. I'm not quite sure what explanation or culprit there is for this behavior, if there is anything specific beyond her own personal digestive ability, because I'm fine and my mother in law is fine. In times like this, she always blames the previous night's dinner for the problem but we've had the same meal several times before. ...
While exercising today, I had a new score hit for Muchi Muchi Pork Manpuku mode. For the last few months I have slowly inched my way past 35 million or so to reach 44 million as my highest within this week, I believe. Today I hit the 50 million extend during the Stage 3 boss and spent my last life in Stage 4 for a new high of 55 million. The score puts me at #6 on the online leaderboard for the game. There's still no 1CC recorded yet. The #1 score is 115 million or so. I wonder how far I can actually ...
D3. Teaching her how to set proper pricings and find new stock to buy took nearly 90 minutes. I had that kind of day and just sat back with some Glenfitch scotch and had to explain, inch by painstaking inch, about everything on the screen and how to do the homework to get the prices set for sales. Sometimes I wonder I would see the supposed truth for myself, that there's generally better players of the game on HC. It turns out that the dinner to more commemorate my Dad's birthday at ...
