Snow and sub zero temperatures are the theme of this week at work. It's been every bit as strenuous as I expected, though mainly for purposes of driving and physical work. The first night of the week was the worst in terms of snowfall, and I can't express enough thanks that the only kind of driving issue I had was in my normal car on the way to work. In a way, it can be said that the highlight of my week is that I managed to sleep a total of at least sixteen hours on Friday. I keep erratic hours overall and many days on which I work I tend to get a usual five hours or so, nothing too awful by any means but sparse enough that my body will want to periodically shut down and hibernate if I allow myself to languish in bed. The response about the parts finally came back, and the report was that he could not acquire the parts required to fix the machine. My wife sent a response asking for the part numbers which he used to search for the parts, and his response was that "there are no part numbers because the parts are no longer manufactured". The elliptical machine has reached a point where I can't use it at all, not even to pedal in place without any setting input on the machine. I managed to find someone to come in for repairs and apparently what I have broken is common enough that it should be fixed (I don't know specific details as he came in while I was at work earlier today). In the meantime, I have had to settle with using the treadmill at the parent's house, as well as do so after my day of work as opposed to doing it the first ...

I made mention of the Saturday Thanksgiving dinner last week, but that was before attending the event. Now in hindsight, I can leave behind my sage advice which I have obtained by experience - do not eat any substantial amount of dried kale before eating a full meal. Just don't. I'm glad the bathroom was close by.

I had an incident occur during work this week. Relatively speaking it was very minor and didn't result in a wreck or injury in the slightest, but it was enough to get the police involved. I was assured at the end of the run that these kind of situations are in fact not rare and their insurance policy would take care of everything. Team Mikado is on a mission to take out one of fighting's most infamous bosses... Kaiser Knuckle's notoriously cheap General! Rugal is nothing in comparison.

Starting out with Lihua, they qualify to fight him by meeting 2 requirements:

2) Score 900,000 or better by the time Azteca is defeated.

The cold has arrived, and I think I can handle the issue of temperature by itself. Put enough layers of shirts, pants, socks, and gloves on me, and I'm able to work in 10F temperatures at night. It will get worse than that, yes. But I can add more to what I've already worn. I wish the clothing and weather didn't cause the skin on my hands to get so brittle though. After paying a second visit to the arcade to play Pendual, I've come to the realization that I can't particularly justify making a day out of going there and playing the game without having my own eamuse card. I've done some things through the week to acquire one, and the only question is if I get a standard one or a Japanese-only premium one. Dentist visit was made and proved to be very much necessary. A molar at the top, rear, and left side of the mouth had a huge cavity and was on its way to rotting entirely out. I have an appointment to get a root canal and crown in two stages, the first of which will be this Monday. They did a partial procedure already to stop the flareups and their work was very quick and direct. Shots to the gums were effortless, and they wasted no effort or time in scraping any garbage they could find on my teeth. ...

The time of scheduled dispatch for my route is 130 AM. Due to some kind of issues related to employee staffing at the GM Parts Service Operation center, there was a combination of larger than usual orders met with fewer people to work them. As a result, I had two days this week where I left from the hub to start my route at 4AM. Two and a half hours behind schedule. Needless to say, that translated to even more time lost by the end of the day as I had much more traffic to endure than usual.

I had some time to get the SIM card replaced in my phone yesterday, but it doesn't seem to have made any dramatic improvement. When I was at the store, the clerk pointed out that I had several updates yet to be installed, but I still can't update the phone system software itself yet. Searching on the error code shows no consistent answer for how it can be fixed, and that some people simply can't get past it at all.

Since it's clear that my current work schedule takes up enough of my time and energy that I can't indulge in the luxury of playing this game every single day, and that I've had several lapses in my daily score postings, I've resolved to do what's second best for the future in that I'll just make one post per week to collect any plays that I've accumulated in that timeframe.
