I think the pirates expansion is already out on the marketplace. IIRC it adds a few Co op missions and that's always good.

I haven't played skyrim, but being that the only Elder Scrolls I ever liked was on Ngage, I'm going to go ahead and say that I like TW2 more than Skyrim. My kid and I played through the co op and he played through the main game as well. I really want to play through the pirates expansion. Is it coming to consoles in the US still?

I definitely wouldn't say I enjoyed Two Worlds II more than Skyrim, but I was very pleasantly surprised by it. Dialogue was occasionally pretty amusing and the magic system was fun to experiment with. There were almost too many armor sets and dyes - it was a nightmare for my OCD. Like Guild Wars all over again (even the game's settings reminded me of the Guild Wars expansions)! Speaking of which, the multiplayer was pretty solid, too.

I had to work that night. Didn't get home until late. *shrug*

    Looking forward to it.

By the way - I'm #72 or so on PS Arrange. What were you doing playing the game on Christmas Eve?

Excellent point on beat-'em-ups, it's surprising that a developer wouldn't understand that meaty thwack feel when the game slows down for just an instant to let you enjoy the hit.

I generally don't play enough current games to fairly judge them at the end of the year =/

Yakuza 4 would probably be the easiest to justify.

Gundam Musou 3 - You'd spend the piece explaining "no, really, this one isn't that bad, because..."

Pork Sweets - "No, really, this game isn't about pedophilia because..."

Even though that likely isn't your thought process, that's the only thing which most people are interested in reading in respect of those games.

I'd vote Pork Sweets myself (and likely DDP over it). If it's really what gave you the most enjoyment, pick it and stick with it. Fuck the rest.

I always heard this game blew. This one and the one with those two dudes who wack each other off until the end.

Enjoyable if unremarkable sums it up pretty well. Yeah the story was pretty lolwat? but it was fun to play though and short enough that I didn't feel bad about playing it a second time for some of the achievements I missed. I just wish the game had some more color. Almost every single level was browns and greys and some red and just earthy tones that really did nothing to entice the eyes. Never tried the DLC for it, but I'm ok with that. Great review PvJ!!!

And of course I forget to categorize this entry under videogames.
    I am a massive toolkit.

    This is true.

I think you play a lot of janky throw-away Japanese-developed games, Pepsiman!
