My wife is going to have one of her friends come in from another country at the end of August. In light of this, we're making plans of things to do and I have now made a major purchase to solidify a few days of things to do. We'll be going to see a baseball game in Detroit. On Saturday night. Today's main activity consisted of going to Ikea to get a few odds and ends to make the house set up a bit nicer for the incoming company. I purchased a few really cheap coffee tables to make use as speaker stands, and we also bought replacements for the kitchen seat pads and the bathroom rug.

Tomorrow starts the fun. I hope our guest looks forward to cooking, because otherwise I fear that she'll have precious little to eat, given the choices that are here. I also hope that I can ...

I really should have pushed myself more last night. I didn't take much advantage of not doing anything after making the post and went to bed roughly no more than an hour before I usually would have otherwise.

My back feels better today, but not enough to where I would say it's completely painless. Given the previous alternative, I will gladly accept what I currently have all the same. My back was very sore when I woek up this morning. More so than usual. Once the day grew long and there was a lot to do, I stopped noticing it directly, but returning home after that shown that the pain remained. In doing some research for today's draft entry, it comes to my attention that I have a few misplaced dates, the result of which requires me to either alter the birth dates for certain characters which I had set years ago, or to alter some of the draft entries which I have previously made. I assume that you know I would choose the latter. Even so, it's a bit disappointing that I couldn't keep the focus on the chronology better to begin with, but the whole point of rough draft writing is to have something ...

Today was a cleaning day at the house. We rented one of those Rug Doctor machines, and after preparing the machine and making an initial run, it didn't seem like that it was able to clean all that much, despite the waste water being visibly soiled. I was lured to bed early by my wife yesterday, and now Tuesday approaches with me having made no progress on resolving the 1120 test error list beyond the new attachment that I made. After a week of silence, I finally have received a result from the IRS for their analysis of the Form 1120 test submissions I have made. In an attempt to quantify the overall result, I would give a grade of C-. Of the eleven individual returns which were sent, seven were without error. Of the four with errors; one is one of the Form 7004 extensions, so that is a simple fix. Two other returns have a few items to adjust.
