It's halftime.

My younger niece is having a baptism soon, and it's summer. I was due for a haircut. I went to have it done at the same place I did last time, which is at a point that's on my driving work route. It's a pretty small farm town. There's an area of more gravel than pavement in the rear of the parking lot where trucks sit, and I'm leaving from the store to return to my vehicle. More late fun at work this week, during the first half of it at least. The last two days were better, though freight and return volume fluctuations were enough to ensure I didn't get back home particularly sooner today or yesterday than the other days. Happily, there's not much else to report on that front. Though before leaving this subject I'd just like to say that I do feel sorry for skunks. Their field of vision is ten feet and they're black colored, so they have basically no chance to live ...

Work was too long this week, ends on a hot weather note, I signed a false name on a petition for us all to be paid more (which had no specific reason behind the demand), I'll finish this post after going to see the new dumb video game movie with my wife because we rarely do anything together lately, and I have some D3 bullshit to tend to after all of the aforementioned. Oh and some guy was rude to me on another board. Who am I? No idea, man. You got me.

A Libertarian Party convention came and went and it was an embarrassment to all involved. Statesmanship is apparently long dead. All along I've been wondering why prominent members of the party (such as they can be) weren't responding to every news story on their own website and elsewhere at every possible chance. I guess now I know why.
