As it turns out, and as I was hoping on the basis of how the IRS system was handling it before, I had no issue in conducting test submissions in the course of the night. I was considering having a blow off night to play some D3 or such, but the cat demanded attention or to be within my field of view until 3AM, so after a while I decided to just go ahead with the next Form 1120 test submission and get it over with, which I did.
