• DLC for Scott Pilgrim Game in November

        New game modes and more.

To mark the home release of the movie, Ubisoft is releasing new downloadable content for Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game. This will make teen love interest Knives Chau playable and will also enable a dodgeball game and a multiplayer battle arena.

Unfortunately, the multiplayer remains local only, but Ubi is also releasing a patch that will address several other player complaints. The biggest change is the ability to join and leave an ongoing multiplayer game on the fly. There's also something about making the default difficulty easier, but that is blasphemy around here, so we'll ignore it.

The DLC will cost 160 Microsoft points or $1.99 on the PlayStation Network.

Are they seriously not adding online multi? Big fat sad face. A new character, modes and bugfixes are nice, but I can only play the game so many times with my brother.

Lame that the battle arena is local only. I'm sure I'll still get this though.

This game pretty much died without online multi.

They're really offering paid multiplayer DLC for a game with gimped multiplayer? Why is this not free? I mean, everyone that lives near me that was interested in this game is done with it, so I probably wouldn't even log in to download it anyway, but still.
