Actually, looking at that CoH2 skill list, it's mostly passives. Warriors still either fight or charge-triple attack (like wizardy) and Samurai have the group attack (like Wizardry). CoH 3, however, seems to be when they start doing their own thing a bit more.

Not as many ablities as, say, Etrian Odyssey, but more than Wizadry.

Is Class of Heroes better than Wizardry in that respect? I really don't know because i did not get very far.

Wizardry's gameplay mechanics are WAY too barebones for me. I gots to have tons of special ablities. Don't want to just hit "fight" all day. Vic is over on neogaf (Doshi posts way more at neogaf nowadays, too. Dat jerk) trying to communicate how much better CoH 2 is than 1. He said it's a lot less frustrating and that each CoH release got better reviews than the last (Final>3>2>1)

Although if I'd have had my druthers it would be Growlanser 1 PSP or Brandish PSP.

I had no hope for Class of Heroes 2, but i didn't really want that one in the first place! How about some Wizardry DS or 7th Dragon?

And $500k is an enormous amount to ask for just for the box, considering people are asking for less than that to fund games from the ground up. I don't think he really gets how Kickstarter is supposed to work.

The Galaxy Express 999 anime series is SO GOOD. The movie is amazing, and for some reason i thought the kind of crappy animation would hold the tv series back, but it's still pretty good!

Fishing Resort is loads of fun. You get an aquarium to run, which you stock with fish you've caught. There's a variety of locales. Lots of mini-games. Catching fish earns you fishing points that you spend on gear, so you're always working toward the new shiny. The fishing is maybe a bit easy, but at least it's interactive, what with having to watch what angle you hold the remote in addition to the ever present tension gauge. Good stuff.

It makes me think how I tried frog legs as a kid and haven't tried them since. Blech. Quina is a better man than I.

Yeah, I really enjoyed Choc'bo dungeon. Didn't do the bonus dungeons, though. That and Sky Crawlers and Rune Factory: Frontier (but not Rune Factory: Oceans. I beat it, but didn't enjoy it nearly as much as Frontier) are the Wii F-chan triumverate of awesome.

Also thought i'd let you know: after 3 years, i finally picked up a copy of Chocobo's Dungeon for Wii. I sat down to play it just to make sure the disk was okay (because it was used and kind of gnarly looking)

10 hours later... this is exactly what i wish a Zelda village was like. The dungeon parts range from passable to good, but i love going around the village and helping people. This is my type of game.

It makes me rethink everything...
