That's...amazing. How has that not been used for the "deal with it" meme?
I've not been paying much attention to 3DS stuff (since I don't have one ;_; ). I think that's about to change, though. Between Soul Hackers, the new Fire Emblem and Shin Megami Tensei IV, I'm running out of reasons not to get one.
*GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASP* i'm surprised you haven't heard about Bravely Default! I've been weh wehing about Square Enix not announcing that for US release since it was announced!
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO UBOA
IPPOOOOOOOOOOOON Yawara! is the best
Okay, that'll stave me off from getting it. I was trying to watch videos of the "funny" parts, and even that seemed to lack the energy that the voice actors had in the second game. I keep remembering the people that said the second one was a good game and that the first one is terrible, and while i really like Mk2, it's hard to imagine a game that's similar but terrible in comparison. I can imagine Inafune really liking the idea, but saying, "Okay guys. This is fun, but let's at least make it not a pile of garbage." Thanks! That saves me $30 for now!
I didn't beat it. The obtuse battle system (no moving around or tactical elements like in Mk2; it's basically a tedious version of the system in Xenogears), unbelievably bad music and slow pace eventually wore me down until I couldn't take it any longer. It would be difficult for me to recommend buying it unless you're really dead set on owning the entire series. I like the concept a lot though, so I'm glad they stuck with it and fixed so many things in the second game. It really is a huge improvement.
if they can improve the third one as much as they supposedly did the second one they deserve a gold star. Otherwise i'll still give them a silver star for effort. I'm seriously looking forward to it. i've been looking up pictures and CyberConnect2 (Solatorobo) is in it! She's totally a furry with a tail and ears. GOOD FOR YOU CC2. although they went back to breathing illustrated character portraits, weird. Did people actually want that back? Creepy. Did you beat the first one? Is it worth it for a super f-chan? it seems like it's getting kind of rare now and i keep swinging back and forth between wanting to get it and remembering how terrible everyone said it was.
I started Hyperdimension Neptunia Mk2 yesterday. I'm shocked, Idea Factory actually made a decent game! The graphics are mostly terrible and the frame rate is laughable, but the game itself is completely playable without any of their usual superfluous, overly-complex bullshit battle/leveling systems. I really hope that carries over into V. I just about died when Takahashi Meijin showed up at the very beginning - so cool!
Ahhhh, I thought she sounded familiar. I didn't know V was getting an LE at all, let alone one that comes with two (!!) lunch boxes/tins. Hmmmm, not sure I'm going to be able to resist spending the extra money now. I need to hurry up and finish the first. March isn't that far off! Arrrgh, the NIS store says they're almost out of the LE. THAT DOES IT, I'M ORDERING IT. Yawara! has been great so far (I think I'm up to episode 13). I've only been watching it on weeks when my stepdaughter is staying with us, since she's really taken a liking to it. I'd really like her to have more exposure to anime from the 80s. I guess a lot of her middle school classmates are into Vampire Knight and it's ilk, so we're taking a break from Yawara! to watch the original OVA version of Vampire Princess Miyu. I still have all the old expensive AnimEigo releases on those crazy-colored VHS tapes!
NepNep is my favorite, her English voice actress (Ed from Cowboy Bebop!) is perfect. i just ordered the lunchbox set of the 3rd game... it's terrible of me to do, but the Neptune LE sets seem to retain their value really well, and i know i'll enjoy the 3rd game. Have you been watching Yawara? It just keeps getting better as it goes!
The first one. I've got the second lined up next in my GameFly queue. Overall reaction to both games hasn't been very positive (and let's be honest, most Idea Factory/Compile Heart games are kind of terrible), but it's one of those series I've been wanting to check out for a while now and finally can now that I have a PS3. Yes it's shameless, but it's also rather clever.
The first one or the 2nd one?
She's crazy about Marceline (I knew this even before watching the show with her thanks to the half-dozen Marceline shirts she owns). A few weeks would be perfect timing, since I should be recovered from Christmas shopping by then. $25 sounds more than fair!
I have most of the materials and the paper itself isn't expensive if i have to get more. Would $25 be okay? I'll make something a little different from the one i posted. Does she have a favorite character or are there certain characters she really likes?
She would absolutely love it. Pretty much everything we got her for Christmas this year is Adventure Time-related; it's literally all she wanted. If you let me know what the costs are for the materials and your time, I'd be happy to compensate you for it. I insist!
THANKS! It looks like it's cheap at the local Gamestops, so if i can find one that's not in awful condition i'll buy it!
If for whatever reason you can't find Nier for cheap, let me know and I will gladly buy you a copy.
I suppose there's a (very very) slim chance something like that could happen with P4 Arena, but Atlus seems content to let everything prior to 3 remain obscure. Such a waste of great characters.
