The furnace repairman arrived about twenty minutes after 11AM, but with today being a day that nobody had scheduled retail work or anything else planned, the wait wasn't an issue. What did need replacement was the igniter plug, the filament of which did manage to snap cleanly through in one spot. That would explain why the furnace would not stay lit. Parts and labor totaled $192, but he accepted $180 in cash. Good man.

I started La Pucelle Tactics today during my exercise, and it's already become clear to me that the game is going to take a long time to play out and that I generally won't be needing to hear its audio. I think what I'll try to do this week is play shooters during my work days and the SRPG on my off days, so that I keep a more interesting balance; it will also allow me to more easily end sessions during work days, as those game sessions are easier to control.

I've installed the new IRS A2A transmitter client and its front end is different from previous versions, and it looks a bit more professional. I'll be making the first test submissions with it after I submit this blog entry.

Songs. I spent some time earlier cleaning out more unloadable songs, and took a deep breath when I finally got to the time to play today's session. Serenity, I said to myself. Accept what will happen with serenity. It appears that serenity did come in some kind. I know that in particular my left hand felt more responsive to the notes, but beyond that I can't exactly explain what it was about today where I was able to play so much better than yesterday, much less do so and have some fairly good new records. I didn't expect much of anything to happen with Toy Cube and was rather shocked with the 5% increase at the end. Everything just felt so much better today. Now perhaps I won't feel so reluctant to order the remaining equipment I need for streaming.
