As happened last time, the sump pump issue is resolved with nothing more than a twist of the screwdriver, and to tighten what became loose. The end. As a matter of habit, I tend to call my parents about these kind of things in case they have any wisdom or products to impart, and to keep them appraised of the situation, so they visited here to verify that the issue had this simple resolution.

Before doing that, we went to the local pancake restaurant for a breakfast meet up, and the timing of that coordinated nicely with my wife's lunch from work. While we were there, we noticed the lights give a faint flicker which most other people didn't seem to notice. Moments later, the power went out.

Songs went pretty well today, with the highlight being a clear of Op 31. It should have come sooner, but the game's handling of BPM shifts makes it worse to play charts like that one, and I usually run out of patience with the song to try to get it done cleanly. Today I managed to persevere.
