I did get some Forms updated last night and slept as long as I allotted myself until the start of the day. Saw my wife on her lunch, got her up to date on the day, put a few finishing touches on some information for the message board, saw her leave, went about my exercise. Got done with the exercise, showered, and get into position to make the call. 1PM comes and I'm the first other person to join the conference, and the other two show up afterwards. What happens next? The new addition to the discussion makes his pitch, the attorney who is hosting all of this restates his demands yet again, his son and I interject for a few moments here and there, and after forty minutes the meeting is concluded with the attorney agreeing to give a page of information to set the demands of what he wants to the new party. My message board was not visited or mentioned at all. I was essentially there only to help be another set of ears to the conversation involving the other people. Awesome. As I said to my wife as I picked her up from work, I would be more angry about this entire situation if it wasn't within my ultimate expectations. I guess one helpful thing this did do for myself is to let me know that I can set up phpBB without much effort. I can now add more dead message boards to the totality of the Internet! Hooray!

My wife and I did a bit of D3 playing at that point, as it was before dinner, and I resumed a bit afterward. While playing the game I was listening to NPR and one of today's reports got to talking about San Fransisco's identification card, and the report needed to have a specific moment in which the lack of gender identification on the card was asked about and given a chance to response. They took the time to mention that the codification of gender wasn't suitable for the people of San Fransisco. Apparently, this is something which needed to be addressed on national news, and it is something which I needed to hear about. Apparently, having choices like "male", "female", and "other" would not be sufficient, and I'm probably some kind of ignorant asshole for even making that suggestion. I guess.

Songs. I think it's evident that I was rather distracted in the course of play, as I kept checking back to IRC channels to speak rather than keep focus on play. Again, I've had worse days but this felt rather dull overall. At least I have a clear of Kiss Me All Night Long on record now.
