Today's purchase of Shamrock Shakes from McDonald's is about as close to a St Patrick's Day celebration as we are willing to do, and so the festivities were taken up today. I didn't have one and stuck with the old standard chocolate for myself, and after not having a shake from them for a considerable amount of time I have to say that the sensation was odd. I got that scratchy feeling I get in the back of the throat when I have certain other sugary products lately, like the S'mores Goldfish or any of the hot chocolate powder mixes. I guess I should add their shakes to the list of "things which taste fine when I eat them, but not immediately afterwards and shouldn't regardless". I ain't even mad.

Revising Form 1120S Schedule K1 yesterday took more time than I had anticipated. They had changed the XML structure of it enough that I couldn't just do easy text replace commands in the source code to bring it up to date. The struggle continues.

Songs. I must confess that I spent some time playing some normal charts before getting to Extra Mode here. My hands simply felt so cold at first that I knew if I had jumped in right away it would have been given me awful results, and the cold was enough that I felt my response being negatively affected. It seems to have basically paid off, though I can't explain why I can't get a good play of Element of Spada yet. Highlight of the session is getting the second clear of Make Me Your Own, and doing so with a new record to put on the books. Now that's progress. I also managed to have exactly -2 EX plays on three songs today. I wonder how that happened.
