No songs yesterday because by the time I came home from a visit to the parents, it was already past 9, and I had to be up at 430 this morning to make my trip. My wife joined me. It was raining and by the time I arrived to the location the second time after purchasing an umbrella for her to have, it was already past 630 and the practice runs end at 8. I managed to get in right at 740 or so and didn't even get to practice all three phases of the test. That was that. The vehicle also is an automatic and is much more compact than a 53' trailer. I guess it still qualifies for purposes of the test, but I was very disappointed that I couldn't complete the reverse maneuver in time. Rust and pressure.

Did I mention that our oven doesn't function now? The gas burners still work as does all the electrical signals otherwise, but the oven compartment won't heat up anymore. I managed to take it apart to get to the igniter coil and found it to be intact. Therefore, whatever the issue is, it's something that I cannot visibly see and therefore can't fix myself; this means that if I were to have it repaired I'd have to call in for service. Since that'll be a few hundred minimum, it's just as well to get a new oven outright so that way I don't spend half of the cost for that on something which may break down yet again sometime in the immediate future. It turns out that most ovens are $500 minimum, and you have to get to the four digit prices before you even see ranges that actually have additional features beyond what the budget ovens offer.

Songs mostly felt good for a while and then fell on my face towards the end. I wanted to have one more song after the new entry but the program crashed as it was loading. Swell.
