Almost done with Trollope's book. Yeah, I think the small passages where he doesn't speak too kindly about blacks is what keeps the book if not his entire legacy hidden away from public consideration now. To wit:

There's really no positive way to spin that.

My intended next target is Extraordinary Popular Delusions and the Madness of Crowds. It seems to be difficult to find this book unabridged and in an electronic format, or at least one that doesn't carry a cost. If I have to resort to getting a print version, it'll probably go on the back burner behind my Civil War reprints.

Songs. Most of my sentiment was altered by my very poor play of Bahram Attack. I kept in sync with the record during the difficult parts, and it was only during the easier measures such as in the beginning where I was radically worse, while elsewhere in the more complex phrases of the chart I kept pace. I don't understand. Regardless, playing a 4 minute 6000 note song was enough to compel me to conclude the day.
