The party actually went well, in my opinion. I'm glad we went. The kind of conversation and level of engagement was different than that of the prior week.

On the way home from that, we visited Fry's, and the visit confirmed what seemed to be the case the last time we went there about a year ago - the place sucks now. Half of the shelves are barren and a substantial portion of product on the floor is merchandise that isn't electronics based. Toys, perfumes, As Seen on TV fare were there instead. Among the software cards (whose rack was placed on the other side of the cafe away from all the games and PC software) was some for PC Diablo 3's Auction House. It was pretty sad. We purchased some mint chocolate Milano cookies on the way out as a kind of consolation for the experience.

Songs were rather good today. No bad plays of any kind to report, and most everything was very close to records if they weren't surpassed.
