Despite the perceptible increase of work volume to handle today, my timing on the route was ultimately the same, and would have been better if it weren't for a few setbacks (like a twenty minute train delay). Later on I took up some additional work, and that was prolonged due to a truck item malfunction which I had to take the time to resolve. Honestly, it is extremely lucky and beneficial for that to have happened to me at that point, being it both after my route and while people were around to fix it on the spot - if that had happened during my run today or tomorrow, it would have made me miserable. As it stands, I'm merely just exhausted now. Regardless, the last two days prove it. The hustle pays off. Other coworkers there have the luxury of spending their day in a relatively laid back attitude if not performance. I took that kind of perspective too closely to heart, and now I see that I cannot personally do that if I'm going to have success here. And that's fine, nor a slight against them. All that matters is that I know what I need to do and that I can do it.
