Since it's clear that my current work schedule takes up enough of my time and energy that I can't indulge in the luxury of playing this game every single day, and that I've had several lapses in my daily score postings, I've resolved to do what's second best for the future in that I'll just make one post per week to collect any plays that I've accumulated in that timeframe. I've thought about doing this for a while but never really felt compelled to change anything until now.

Listen. The main reasons that I ever bothered writing any of this in the first place is because I like having a record of the scores I earn in playing this game, and the little bit of talking I muster about it while doing so. I also figured that making these posts would compel other people to post more regularly about what they do with their games. As a consequence of doing this daily for so long, I actually do have an interesting life journal left in the wake for those years, and I think I will come to miss not having a daily record of my mundane activities at work or otherwise - glancing through posts from years ago helps to jog my memory about things which I have long forgotten and return with a very strong rush. Considering the variances I encounter at this current job and how repetitious it would otherwise seem to be on the surface, I would want to devote more time into writing about it. But then the issues of time availability, energy, and desire to not regurgitate the same phrase in a dozen different ways makes me spend a lot of time on contemplating writing something which is supposed to not require a lot of contemplation. It really doesn't need to be anything more than a "here's what happened today. the end" statement. Innocuous, mundane, but still published in some fashion. Even that became being more than I care to expend at the moment. Maybe some day I'll have a lifestyle that's interesting to write about or manage to infuse my description of it with such passion that even the most boring of events will enrapture an audience.

Until then I can just post these scores.
