I had some time to get the SIM card replaced in my phone yesterday, but it doesn't seem to have made any dramatic improvement. When I was at the store, the clerk pointed out that I had several updates yet to be installed, but I still can't update the phone system software itself yet. Searching on the error code shows no consistent answer for how it can be fixed, and that some people simply can't get past it at all.

The test question project had me put in six hours of extra work off of the main job, and doing that with other things going on this week such as the previously mentioned chore and preparing for the now-present company meant that I had postponed making a call to a dentist yet again, and it's very much to my detriment now. I'm not quite at the point where I am completely unable to focus away from the pain (which, even at its worst, still isn't at a level I'd call "excruciating"), but it's not going away and nearly kept me from getting any sleep yesterday.

The test question project sessions were interesting. The groups were of about five people and the project coordinator, and particularly on the second day it seemed like I was the person who spoke up with the highest frequency. Other participants were clearly older and had more direct work experience with respect to the subjects and questions being discussed, but I felt like I broke the silence more than everyone else combined. It's also a bit reassuring to see the questions which other people have written - I wondered if the questions which I wrote were going to be visibly worse than those of others. Now I wonder if mine are going to be deemed as too difficult.

On the subject of company, I wonder how this weekend will go. I need to sleep very soon so that I can be ready to do things tonight, as is planned.

Not too bad of a week for songs, though not much of anything to speak of in respect of new records. Interesting to see so many new songs today. I think having the arcade presence in the back of my mind is helping me stay motivated to keep playing at a high level now.
