Tuesday morning. The promised snow did come and was as cleaned up as it could be after a full day, but there was so much of it that it presented problems, such as what I encountered here. For my second stop I approach a T intersection which turns to the left with the rear of the dealership on the right. My normal procedure is to turn to the left and then go in reverse into the lot to position my trailer by the door to make the delivery. There was so much snow that had been plowed that the normal turn radius which I have was lessened both in front of me and to my rear left side, which meant that even if I could make the turn from the front, my trailer wouldn't clear the turn from the back. I'm halfway through the turn when I realize this, so I begin to back out. This particular street that I'm on is part of the parking lot area and not a major street, so it wasn't fully plowed and salted. I went in reverse and couldn't move. I tried to wiggle forward and back and dug myself into a rut. I had to have a tow truck arrive to pull me through the turn and then forward a bit in order to liberate myself from the intersection. The delay was three hours, and resulted in me being home at 3PM. Sleep at 4PM, wake up at 10PM, do it again.

Two days later, it's Thursday morning. The trailer I end up with had some graffiti written on the inside wall, with the words "THIS TRAILER IS FUCKED UP!!". Sure enough, I could hear some unusual hissing from the rear tandem as I have the trailer brakes released, and I can tell that it loses pressure a lot quicker than normal. Regardless, it isn't enough of an issue to stop me so I roll with it. I make it to my fourth stop, complete the delivery, and prepare to roll out. The area where I'm parked is a long approach which I have to back into from the main road, and it is not particularly well plowed or salted and is essentially a surface of packed snow and ice. I release my air brakes and get into gear, and the trailer stays put. The pressure goes down to warning levels rapidly as I keep the air brakes applied through attempts to move forward or backward. I build the air pressure up in both tanks to a full 125 PSI and attempt to move, and I end up dragging the trailer with the wheels locked. I have to jam the brakes instantly and left the trailer no more than an inch away from a factory new car. I was stuck. The person who arrived for the repair had to replace the rear air brake chamber. The delay was four hours, and resulted in me being home at 330PM. Sleep at 430PM, wake up at 10PM, do it again.

So that's two pairs of days in this week where my entire day consisted of sleep, work, sleep. Other days were indeed better, but the first four stops still take much more effort than normal because of the length of the walk in which I have to traverse while dragging pallets through packed snow.

I'm ready to do a lot of nothing for the next few days.

I only had time for Extra mode on songs a few days this week, but at least they were still pretty good somehow. I also did the arcade visit today again, as I did last week, and I did better this time than the last time there as well.
