The new elliptical machine which was set to be delivered this coming Monday has actually arrived. Today. It's in the garage right now. The next thing I need to do is find the time and motivation to assemble it - it will come, but how soon.

Dear Japanese Pop Song artists - please stop using the word "homie" in your lyrics. Please. There's two instances where I've heard this in the course of listening to my radio recordings, and while any incidental English use tends to glaringly stick out regardless, that one word is particularly awful to encounter. On this subject, lately there are times where it finally feels like I'm gaining some kind of increased comprehension of the language, as would be expected after listening to the files for more than fifty hours per week for the last few months, but it still is sadly limited to sporadic instances. For each exchange of sentences which I think I understand, I can go another minute without understanding a god damned thing. The more I learn, the more I learn what I don't know.

This is Patch Week in the land of Diablo 3, which means that there are more than two people in my friends list who are actually playing the game at any given time. Of course, since I let myself get excited about things and have an extreme lack of restraint at times, I've squeezed in a few hours after work through the week, which has led to me staying up longer than I would like as well as having little else accomplished beyond doing my actual job. Of course, this has to happen on the last weekend before the tax filing deadline, but I did get the extension filed so at least I did ensure that I had that much completed.

I might have a new route to work at my job soon. There is a job fair going on today, and at the end of my day and asking about it with my boss, he casually asked if I wanted a new route in light of the event. With new hires coming on, I might have a chance to move up to something better. Hopefully, "better" doesn't result in me having longer days or more work to do, as I'm not sure if any kind of extra pay that they would offer for any additional labor beyond what I already provide would ultimately be worth it. I'll just have to see what comes up before making any commitment.

Song sessions still continue to feel pretty good overall, but today was particularly pleasant as far as strong results came. Glad to finally get Apocalypse down with a clear. To hell with that chart. As alluded to earlier, there were a few days this week where I didn't have enough time to get to Extra Mode charts, but I at least played a few standards to move my fingers around. I haven't been to the arcade in nearly a month now. I just don't have the time to spare now.
