The main lesson which I take from this week of work is that I cannot do the preload work on top of the route for a full week without having a significant impact on my health and well being. There were several moments through the week where it was an immense struggle to keep necessary attention to the road. Perhaps I could arrive to work an hour later and still get credit, and perhaps I could do nothing at all but work and sleep throughout the week; but the former possibility could potentially lead to problems at the job, and the latter is something which I can't live with. Call me weak. Personally, I'd rather have 2.5 - 3 hours to utilize for my own needs in a day than $30 for working them in it.

I have kept a time listing for the past week and this week from my stops, and I was contemplating manually entering the numbers onto a spreadsheet here so that I could have a record to retain and analyze, but that's more work to do which I don't think will grant any particular benefit. At least it gives me a direct accounting to see what variance (and lack of variance) I have in the running of the route from one day to the next. The overall trends which I can perceive is that load and return volume does make a direct impact on the time of day for the arrivals, and that I tend to maintain the same intervals for time of driving between stops, regardless of when they occur in the day. No surprises to me in that analysis.

It seems that the hosting of my wife's friend is deemed to be a success by all parties. The weekend was stuffed with things to do, and she found time to explore the neighborhood on her own during the weekdays. She's much more of a Shoe Shopper woman than my wife ever has been or will be. I'm grateful for that much.

Song sessions were decent enough for me this week, considering that having any time to play at all was a gift by itself. My last arcade visit was so bad that I went into the first few sessions feeling defeated before I even started, but the scores which I obtained here show that I'm not playing equally as poorly at home as well.
