Having a Monday off gives me a direct benefit to two weeks, in that it ends one week with a nice three day respite, and it starts the next one with one day out of five already in the past. I may have had to use a different tractor two days out of the week, and the normal one which I use might be going right back into the shop after today due to the engine light coming back on again despite being in maintenance for two days, but I still feel much less drained on this Saturday than I have many others. I think it's just because my work week is so long that something as obvious as this feels noteworthy enough to talk about.

One circumstance of having to use a different tractor is that I couldn't use my ipod through most of the day, so I was able to be reacquainted with Art Bell on late night AM radio. The guest he had on is the person behind this: http://www.paresspacewarpresearch.org . A warp drive could exist, so he says. It's pretty fun to just imagine what the world would be like if that were to actually come true. Granted, that's as long as it isn't used to detonate or poison everyone on Earth within minutes. The only alternative which I come across through the early hours which isn't JackFM and its ilk are the Christian stations, and I find myself staying on to listen to those at times just because it is someone actually talking about something. I guess it shouldn't surprise me but I'm still a bit amazed at how the hosts and most of the callers are able to recite chapter and verse designations for the quotes which they bring up. The Bible is something which has basically remained unchanged for thousands of years, yet they still find a way to talk about it as if it's fresh material. If only I had the talent to do so here, right?

It appears that I didn't have or make as much time for playing songs at home this week as I have in recent prior weeks. Oh well. Arcade visits still seem to be going over well, and that includes this prior weekend with there being more players for the game due to the holiday being present. A few times now, I've had a few people take the time to tell me that they like seeing me play and think I'm good. I still struggle to have a good instant response to praise. I might not be horrible, but I know I could be so much better.
