Work started out two hours late on the first day of the week. I glided along from one stop to the next in something of a dull haze. I wasn't angry. I wasn't rushing things. There was no way to be done on a good time. I just resolved to be patient, operate as normal, and show up to work later the next day. Unfortunately, I committed an error on the second to last stop and got in a scrape against a parked car. It lost. Nobody responded with any kind of particular anger or vitriol and if anything just shrugged it off with a "shit happens" vocal response and went about the day. I was very distraught regardless and had to restrain my frustration until I finally came home. I had enough. It's days like that where it's probably a particularly good thing that I'm married. In response, the immediate change I made is to not do the preload process anymore. I lose $30 per day due to that, but I gain at least two hours of non-work time to my day, and it has made a directly beneficial impact from the first night I went without it. Shit happens, sure, but I can't let it happen to me. Especially for how it came about this time. I'm basically down to my last strike as it stands now, at least for the time being. Though, despite saying that, I was initially told that I would likely be suspended for up to three days in light of this occurring so soon after the jackknife incident, yet so far that hasn't happened nor has any other kind of response come to me about it.

The end of the year means that I need to take up my annual testing for CE credits to maintain my Enrolled Agent status. All I need to say is that sticking with the same testing company pays off.

Songs are still decent in light of the new key switches and springs as was done last week. It seems that a lot of my new records were sloppier on the miss counts, though. I also took the time to finally integrate my new entries from Pendual and BOF15 into my records. There's some BOF15 7key song which is causing the program to crash when it tries to view that folder, and despite the error log stating that it's due to an unsupported difficulty value, I can't seem to find the songs which has it. The BMS format uses hashtagged statements for its data, and the "#difficulty" element is optional, so I took the time to have Notepad++ remove them all. The problem persists. I hope to find out what it is without having to spend a day on picking and reloading the program one batch at a time until I manually find the culprit.
