Tuesday morning on work was my moment of retardation. I went through the motions from one stop to the next with acknowledging that I was misjudging the rear clearance of the trailer, but still went through my day as if I would just get used to it or correct myself eventually or something. I didn't do so in time to avoid denting up a garage door at a stop. It kicked off a hinge and left a dent, but the door still functions. Regardless, it was completely unnecessary for me to park that close regardless and I have absolutely no excuse for it happening beyond me being dumb. Most people at that place already don't like me at it is. I've had too many incidents on this job, of my own fault at least.

Maybe I have some kind of reversed confirmation bias going on lately; I started taking some Omega 3 pills as part of the daily nutrient supplement and if days like that and my home song sessions are any gauge, I seem to be getting visibly dumber through the week.

I've remained disconnected from online games through last weekend, and I think that continues to be the best choice at the moment. I was able to stay caught up on Cooori Japanese study throughout as well as resume some side reading. Bridges of Memory. The interviews are around twenty years old by now, yet there's still plenty of interesting and contemporaneously relevant things said in them. There's a lot of stuff I have sitting around which I should look into starting or resuming, as long as I can manage to stay away from the time sinks.

I guess I shouldn't say all of the days' home song sessions were bad last week. Today wasn't so awful, and yesterday was when I found a nice hot streak of seven records in a row. Two days ago was terrible, though, and other plays have felt flat. I think perhaps my expectations are too high compared to the steady progress I've had for a while beforehand, or maybe now that I'm coming around to playing songs a second time or more since having updated the table, I might be seeing the resultant lack of new highs. In looking over the week, I should feel more content with the results than I feel at present. Breathe.
