Company's in this weekend. The usual. When I came upstairs to start my morning routine to leave for work, he was there on the couch watching something on his ipad. I walked over, said hello, he looked up and said hello back, and that was that. Thanks for being here. I'm not looking particularly forward to the next few hours to come tonight after my writing this passage.

On the subject of that person - it was his prom weekend just prior to this one. There's a woman who he's crushed over forever, and she was his date. Apparently, after some proposals made several months ago were inconclusive, she took a moment to formally ask him. The detail about this which I didn't know until his mother was talking to us about it last night is that this girl in question already has a boyfriend. I don't have any details beyond that, as far as if she did at the time or beforehand or did so when he tried asking her and so on. I also am presently unaware as to why her boyfriend wasn't her date instead. Perhaps he has already graduated and is some years older or something, I don't know. Now, question. Would any of you robots reading, while you were in your robot high school, have allowed this to happen, where your significant robot other would go to a prom with someone other than you? Is this typical? I wouldn't think so. Meanwhile, there's the puzzling part to this from his angle as well; did he make these engagements with knowing she had a boyfriend? Would it still be a good idea to go with someone like that regardless? In his case, he's going to a dance with someone who he's longed for in a substantial period of time, yet in knowing that she has another relationship, surely he knows that it would be a strictly platonic occasion? I personally couldn't imagine finding that to be acceptable. I'd sooner not go at all. Well, perhaps more details will be revealed about this all later tonight, but I'm not going to make a point to play detective on a case. As with everything else in my interactions with him, I just need to simply not care at all.

Oh, breaking news to end this spiel about him. I have now been informed that he "chooses" to not wear deodorant. I really, really, truly do wish I was making this up. It explains a lot.

This work week has actually been pretty long. Yesterday, my first stop had a heavy load; on a typical day they'll usually receive 30 pieces or so, and on this day they received 80. It wasn't 80 small items, either, and many pieces were auto body parts which required separate handling one item at a time. It didn't help matters that I left later that day so that I could run an item over to a stop on another person's route, and had the delay so that I could obtain the address to the destination. It probably took more time for them to look that up than it was for me to actually go over there and make the delivery.

Home sessions haven't been too bad this week, but my time with them was cut short due to the length of time spent on the job instead. I'm still seeing a lot of higher miss counts on the records, and that concerns me. It also seems like I've been having a bad streak of the program crashing at least once or twice in the course of a day, so that's why I don't have as many playcounts given on songs as I normally would. Friday's session was nice at least, but alas it had to be cut short due to time. Them's the breaks.
