My third week of debaucherous unemployment is coming to a close, right as a holiday weekend comes. How fortunate. What is actually fortunate is that my jobless days should soon be at an end, as I've conducted a drug and driving test for a new potential employer. All routes are within a 100 mile radius of the terminal. Everything is drop and hook. It will be mandatory to get my hazmat endorsement on the license now, so it's a good thing I've been studying during all this vacation time. One potential issue of sorts is that this job does seem to have a high volume of work to do on the weekends, so my days off will likely come during the week. This means that the usual leisure activities which I've enjoyed for yeasr such as Sunday Diablo sessions and arcade trips with friends might now only occur on holiday weekends if at all. If that's what comes to pass it will be a bit sad, but nothing lasts forever and I must say that my earning a paycheck does take precedence in importance.

That's honestly about all that's news to report here, and I'm very grateful for it. I can deal with the peace.

Song sessions were very good through the week. Of particular interest are the two plays of Mosaic which came here. It's naturally a chord heavy chart and the extra notes compound the problem, and I think perhaps there are days where I am attempting to hit everything at the expense of maintaining accuracy of the notes which I could normally time. I also believe that there are times where you play a song and you fall a hair behind the beat and can never get back on track because you simply remain consistently off throughout the play. Whatever the culprit, it's just as surprising to see a play be down 9% one day and then have an 8% increase a few days later. A 17% score swing between plays is pretty unprecedented. Last week's arcade visit wasn't too bad, certainly better than the prior weekend, so here's hoping my good stretch of plays here carry over to Copula.
