All songs are Double play charts, using Random key modifier, and have a rating of at least 12. Songs in the courses are selected at random. For most songs which have multiple 12 ratings, I modify it so that the highest type of chart (Black or Another) is the only 12; that way I play the hardest version of the song and ensure I don't play it twice in the same course.

Courses are played with the 100% Gauge. Yes, this is glorified practice.

Scores are given as: EX; J Great, Great, Good, Bad, Poor, Max Combo, Letter Rating
Little sleep this morning. Feel sluggish now.

旧地獄街道を行く 反逆のパルスィ, エクステンドアッシュ -Last Resurrection, quasar, mendes B14, bad maniacs

Wake up! Time to die! Well, not so bad with the first two, really - both are 180BPM high energy type of songs and I held around 65% through it. First song rips the samples from Yamaoka's Machiko no Uta, so I always do a double take when I hear it. Anyway, after that, the pain came. Once in a while during the shitstorm in Quasar I can combo some 30/40 notes of it and wonder what the hell I'm doing or how I did it after it breaks. I need more moments like that. Last two just was salt on the wound.

bitterblossom - dp 3, betelgeuse, lifework, canon (blazing summer mix), red by full metal jacket

The first song is straight up terrible. It opens with some light piano uptempo stuff, then cuts to really bad Engrish asking "DO YOU STEERU BIRIVE YUR FEARI TEIRU?" and then breaks into the rest of the melody which is basically nothing but brass horn two-note trilling and orchestra hits. Not only that - despite Regul speed, there are still some pause breaks in the chart towards the end which still carry. On those stop measures there are three note chords on both hands. I think they're all orchestra hit notes. So fucking awful. I swear I logged playing betlegeuse before. More piano scaly stuff. Lifework is a pretty neat song - decent transition between two themes. Only weird part is the ending which does some measure bar gimmick that floods the screen and makes it junk to read. lol I guess. Other two went OK enough.

binary rendezvous, bahram attack, kaiden aura, shock waltz, anisakis - somatic mutation forza - B14

Lead song sounds like something you'd expect Japanese vocals to break in at any second but it never happens. It's bouncy and happy otherwise. Bahram Attack I deliberately upped to a 12* for the sake of variety and because it can get pretty hairy with most randoms - and I like the song well enough to hear it whenever it comes around. Kaiden Aura only affected the first few measures of shock waltz. Had under 1000 goods and 700 misses before anisakis B14 rolled in. I guess I've done worse with it.

kamaitachi, ghost revival, 月童 - Awaking!!神奈, DXY!, cutexecute

That was five songs? That seemed really quick. Kamaitachi went pretty well. Ghost Revival not so much. I guess what makes Awaking a 12 is the end which has a lot of four note scoops which combine into a chord but still. I can't leave that there. The funniest thing about the song is that the entire ending fadeout it has is in fact mapped to a key, which both means that if you miss it, the song ends in abrupt silence, and that in Nonstop courses it carries into the next song which means that you can play the last five seconds well beyond where it belongs. Maybe that's what made DXY! seem really sudden. Cutexecute is dumb loudness and anmitsu paradise. Trash. Thanks for fucking my B up.

カゴノトリ~弐式~, holic, nanodelic, brainstorm, jumbo

I was wondering when Cago was going to show up. That and nanodelic combined for a wonderful experience of Japanese aural masturbation. Plegh. Holic went rather well I think. I'm glad I don't play Brainstorm on PS2 Troopers anymore because that was particularly unbalanced at the end and was an instant headache inducer. Jumbo went mildly better at the first half. Not a terrible notespread overall.

Let's end this.

baby blue blanket, コウソク*コンプライアンス, sense 2007 A14, rizing you up, kaiden aura

I have no problem with ending a course with Aura since it doesn't screw with other charts - nor does it seem to have the issue of correcting itself at the end, either. I don't get it. Kousoku went bad, not too good with sense. Rizing You Up was fine.

Poopy day.
