All songs are Double play charts, using Random key modifier, and have a rating of at least 12. Songs in the courses are selected at random. For most songs which have multiple 12 ratings, I modify it so that the highest type of chart (Black or Another) is the only 12; that way I play the hardest version of the song and ensure I don't play it twice in the same course.

Courses are played with the 100% Gauge. Yes, this is glorified practice.

Scores are given as: EX; J Great, Great, Good, Bad, Poor, Max Combo, Letter Rating

Bah I say! Pluto wasn't so bad of an open, came out with a 54% or something, I had it at B for a bit before the end. Extend Ash(?) has a lot of chords and I couldn't get good timing down before Gobble came along. I timed better with Gobble, for all of the 75% of the notes that I can hit out of it. Aliceblue went normal, and came out of it at 51%. When I heard Kachou start up I had faint hope of maybe bringing it to the B, but not this time. Close though.

Yes, that's the chemical name for Morphine there. Clever. The song is thorough Goa Trance and feels like an LED chart in a way, with very rudimentary scales and runs, and for the life of me most of the time I cannot find a good groove for it. Came out of it at 48% and that fucked me for the rest. Maybe did slightly better than average with Calls. Red End Dream has an inital part which reminds me of AA, but one time I had the two songs back to back and really they are more dissimilar than I imagine. I had fundamentally no answer for fairies and I'm not precise at Gold Cross enough yet where it's a song that will bring me up. A whole lot of this course was double handed scale runs. Lucky me.

Extra Stonehenge is marked as a 15* in my listing. Compared to everything else I've seen and have, I think maybe a 13* at most is appropriate. There's a lot of rapid single-note scratch chords on one hand while the other does stuff, which can lead to terrible randoms (I was lucky enough to have it on S5 on the right and S3 on the left), but beyond that and a lot of note mordents, it's nothing much more extraordinary than other difficult charts. Well, regardless, I think I did better than usual with it this time. Still flailing with most of pentagram. Gigadelic went well, with a lot of nice combos in it. Karma wasn't too hot but a nice followup. Unfortunately, the usual long gap before or after a TaQ song came in again and I had to wait a while for biometrics. Why does it do that? Well, biometrics sucked like normal regardless.

Rough course. Quark is simply tough. AA throws me on bad rolls. Steel Needle is a nightmare, and I've already bitched before about how terrible of a song and chart bitterblossom is. Hope something like this doesn't come up again soon.

If this course needed to have Erase Engine Distorted in it, I'm glad to have led off with it. On this chart and most of the day I seem to be getting a lot of my loathed 23 chord on the left hand - it's probably my weakest chord on both hands. Felt like logic board was average at best. Heaven's Gate and Grad Traveler probably is what brought my score up so well. Thanatos is still neat. Searching for a YT of Grad Traveler I found a related link to a BMS of a song from Thunder Force V... I think I must investigate further later.

Despite having just played heaven's gate, I kept with this set just so that I can have entry regarding the first song of this course. This song is fucking horrible. 200 BPM of literally nothing but endless piano masturbation with simple percussion, save the middle breakdown which merely slows things down a bit to rebuild to the initial speed. The song simply sounds horrible and lifeless and is terrible to play. Came out of it at 40%. Syatten is the composer of Evangelize and a few other songs which have come up here, and I think he gets how to make songs which are at least arguably of the same caliber as normal IIDX songs. Colors doesn't come up often and it feels like a weak 12 in comparison to bullshit like Voyage and other things played today. So long ago, the scale runs seemed like it took all effort and exertion to nail, and now it comes up and I just walk with it without a second thought. That's what 10 years of playing does for you, I guess.

Not a terrible day I guess overall. Some rough sets.
