This felt like a set of "things you played recently" right from go. Raison d'etre going into Secrets was ugly, the latter was particularly unpleasant with the chart I got. Happy to do relatively well with Setsugekka and Sleeping Terror this time.

inazuma, pluto, troopers, kaiden aura, ubertreffen

Inazuma finally didn't feel like total crap and I had a good run with pluto. Troopers didn't sink me. There was a hard cut between Kaiden Aura and ubertreffen so I didn't get fucked by the BPM shifting before the latter song started. Kaiden Aura also had a very nice random for the first half at least and felt better to me as well. Pleased with this.

inori, 4bidden area, dreaming in library, run away, brainstorm

Ended at 68% - woohoo. Inori finally went well, at least compared to the last few that stick out in my memory. 4bidden area has many stretches of cake that helped keep things afloat. I'm not sure if I should downgrade Run Away - it does get moderately dicey at the end, but that's after about 4 mintutes of fluff. I like playing the song too, which is probably biasing my desire to keep it around. Well, for now, I'll let it stay a 12* and save this. Good score regardless.

Huh, what a (mostly) thematic course. I guess it all fits if after the seasons are summoned the Gods command for It to be Done. Out of Canon at A/AA border, Sakura Storm kept the A. September Wind is another find from my cousin which wasn't very bad in random but had a few tricks - enough where I was at a B at the end. Do It is no help northward on that slope.

This course was just playing with me. Vanessa felt OK enough. Once upon a time, I couldn't even flail through Kakumei without needing to pause around 90 seconds in - I just didn't have the stamina in my left hand to keep pressing on while concentrating on the bullshit right hand scratch chords. I remind myself of those times when I play the song now, because while I don't exactly score exponentially better I can at least play through it without tiring me out so thoroughly. Course probably would have looked much uglier without Candy Galy or Majesty.

I think it's accurate to say that today went rather well.
