I've been informed that at least two cartmen who were ready to be hired by the store failed their drug tests. That explains a few things. I personally find the situation distasteful on both sides - I get that the company can set whatever hiring standards it wants, and that it wants to present a strong corporate image by having drug testing for even the lowliest of jobs. But the job in question is pushing carts for minimum wage. Unemployment pays better and the job is thankless, particularly with how the store maintains its equipment and cart stock. I also don't understand what is so difficult for someone who is looking for a job so desperately that they would consider taking on cart pushing that they cannot abstain from smoking pot or whatever the hell else for a month just to make sure that you can piss clean. It's not difficult to find out that the store will test applicants. It's not difficult to abstain from drug use for a month. Wait a few weeks, pass the test, then go smoke yourself retarded. In the meantime, I get to work with people like I did today who have some sort of Down's syndrome like ailment who are incapable of walking the same speed as a cart machine, which I put at 3 MPH tops. Land of Confusion, I swear.

Yesterday was the second day in recent memory in which I went immediately into the score readout for what I did without prior saying what it is I would be playing. For as cryptic these blocks are, I imagine it would only be worse if I don't at least frame what it is that I'm doing.

Like Exusia, I didn't want to start a new day in playing Perditus Paradisus and made a point to end this session with it. I don't have any memory of playing Fantasia at all, and since I have passed it here it will likely slip out of memory within a few hours once again, but it does have distinctive quality to it so I was surprised that it felt so foreign to me. Let the Track Flow has a lot of parts filled in by the extra notes which rendered that chart completely nonsensical. Perditus, in contrast, was congested and impossible for my hands but had some semblance of form to it.
